after visiting several stores in my area and driving for miles to different furniture company, i lastly visited ashley on my way home. i was apporach by robert ragon one of the salesmans there. after being there for hours i finally settle on a living room set that i li ke . i was sold an extended warranty and was promise the delivery on 12/21/21 which i got a call on 12/19/21that the date of delivery would be on january6/2022 . i visited the store on 12/20/21 to speak to a manager mr nathan. he inform me that all three pieces of my furniture will be delivered on thursday the 12/24/21 he promise, ok i get a call on 12/21/21 from the store that my deliverly will be on the 6 of january after complaining i was given back my delivery fee.so i was out finishing up christmas shopping i get a call from ashley furnitur that the deliverly guy was at my house this was around 3/4 in the evening. i arrived home within 12mins my furniture was already unloaded and siting in the driveway. everything was wrap except for the swival chair. it appeared to be used and it looked broke and was nasty with black marks all over. as i was examining my furniture i found alot of black marks and it appeared dingy and i ask the guy why was it leaning that it appeared to be broken he told me he didnt knw, that maybe if i sat in it ,that may help. the chair appeared to hav been in the store as one of there display it didnt look new like the other pieces. so i went back to the store to complain i spoke to robert and a manager there.to no avail. i requested my money back and for them to come and pickup the chair, so i left after being there for an hour to make arrangement i was told that someone would be contacting me within 24 hrs to arrange a pickup. ok today is 12/28/21 i called them the lady jessica told me that iam required to send pictures of the damages for them to review i explain to her that the manager nor robert never told me that . i said as i were showing the chair to the delivery guy, i turn around he was gone. when i went outside to apporach him with my finding.he was halfway up the street,i just want my money bk. i dont want to deal with them ever again , this is my first and last time please dont buy from them, they lie and sell cheaply made furniture, with poor customer service, no one kns nothing, they give u the run around,and they refuse to make it right.

We purchased over 10k of furniture in April of 2021, the furniture didn’t get delivered until July. It’s been 4 months and we have already had a technician her to fix little chips on our dining room table. They came in and painted the chips. (The only thing the table has been used for is eating) The table started chipping again. I called Ashley’s and they offered for us to go pick another table (We would have to pay the delivery cost) We purchased Captain chairs which are tall, and it would be very hard to find a table to go with the chairs. The other offer was 58.00 10% of the cost of the table, (cost was after a discount due to us purchasing so much furniture) When I pointed out we paid for 5year extended warranty that got ignored. We will keep the table and deal with the chips. NEVER purchase from Ashley. Furniture is cheaply made, and they do not stand behind what they sell!

I purchased furniture in March, 2021. Within 3 months the seating on both the sofa and matching recliner began to break down. I have been trying to get it repaired or replaced for 2 months now. No one will take responsibility for doing what needs to be done. This company has a process where consumers get caught in this endless loop and eventually will give up. Phone calls are not returned. Emails are not returned. Appointments are not kept. It has been the most frustrating experience ever. From complaints from other consumers online, it is obvious this is a standard practice. Do not do business with this company.

In Brantford Ont Canada Bought a sofa, floor model, it is in the store on Sept 4th today the 25th and nowhere in site. Not sure about quality of product but their logistics suck, Delivery promised on the 17th no show, then 24th no show no call. Called store to complain 9/24 returned call to the wrong number at 8pm at night. left a don't know message. The logistics are terrible they have to send from the store to central depot, (in the opposite direction)then delivered/dispersed from there! They lie, never got a call from any driver. A little late getting back to this, But the store manager was very helpful and had a retiree with a pick up truck deliver it, so after all the frustration the store manager made it all work out. A shame the corporate system does not work as well.

This has been a nightmare since I tried to file a claim on the extended warranty that I bought through Ashley Homestore in Brookfield Connecticut. I was told by montage which is the warranty company that they never registered the plan when I purchased the furniture so they will not honor it, which I understand. That’s like getting an automobile insurance policy after you get in the car accident. Ashley home store in Brookfield and the manager Jeff told me that it was registered after numerous phone calls and emails,Ashley home store in Brookfield admits to not registering the extended warranty so now I am out $500 for the warranty and my furniture is ruined. I have filed claim with our state attorney generals office which they are investigating, They say it seems to be a pattern with the Ashley HomeStore’s.These people are crooks they take your money and never honor anything. Don’t buy furniture from them

No Returns or Exchanges on Mattresses. Not even poorly made ones. I needed a new mattress so I decided to go to Ashley. They were helpful and the store was clean with a number of options. This is were things go south. I received the mattress and it felt nothing like the mattress that I tested in the store. It was extremely uncomfortable. I called and got 2 different answers from the reps. The first one said that this kind of thing happens all the time and he will have someone call me back in 48 hours. After 48 hours I called back and the next rep said that there is nothing they can do to help. No one even called to tell me that. The manager on the phone said that they would send a warrantee specialist over to my house to check for defects. He did show up after about 5 days and yes he found workmanship issues and said that he would submit them and the store manager has the authority to do an exchange or credit. My issue is that the mattress didn't feel like the mattresses at the store so in my eyes it was misrepresented. I gave 1 star because the manager wouldn't even come out to talk to me. He or she sent an employee out to say that there is nothing they can do. I reminded them that the mattress has manufacturing flaws that the warrantee specialist confirmed and they said that they wouldn't do anything about it. They should have had better quality control before shipping the mattress to me. Don't buy a mattress from Ashley Homestore because they hide behind a no return or exchange policy. There are plenty of mattress companies that will at the least do an exchange if you are not happy. I made a mistake buying from them and I'm spending the time writing this to hopefully save people from buying a mattress from Ashley Homestore. Don't Buy a Mattress from Ashley Homestore!! Bad Management.

Just go somewhere else unless you like to get pooped on!
