We were able to purchase a very nice bookshelf from Ashley furniture. It was a very good price and quality. Our salesman was amazing to work with us to get what we needed. However, when we checked out we were apparently charged for a cleaning kit for the bookcase. No one told us that we were being charged for it. When my husband picked it up, they handed him the cleaning kit and was told it was a free gift. Admittedly, we should have looked at the receipt sooner but we didn’t. When we called to check what we could do, we were told nothing could be done because it was past the 10 days. We have not used the kit and really don’t need it. We’re mainly just upset that they lead us to believe that it was a free gift. FYI - the salesman knew we had a bit of a tight budget so they should have made it very clear that we were paying for this.

In Brantford Ont Canada Bought a sofa, floor model, it is in the store on Sept 4th today the 25th and nowhere in site. Not sure about quality of product but their logistics suck, Delivery promised on the 17th no show, then 24th no show no call. Called store to complain 9/24 returned call to the wrong number at 8pm at night. left a don't know message. The logistics are terrible they have to send from the store to central depot, (in the opposite direction)then delivered/dispersed from there! They lie, never got a call from any driver. A little late getting back to this, But the store manager was very helpful and had a retiree with a pick up truck deliver it, so after all the frustration the store manager made it all work out. A shame the corporate system does not work as well.
