There are no issues with the product itself, but there is a huge negative attitude towards the support team. 3 times people contacted me and no one solved my problem and the problem was simple, please give me an account for bank transfers of the annual package. They also with this normally coped, first one disappeared, I started looking for how to contact at least someone from this company, then connected to the conversation the second and began to ask for the same data as the first, in the end said that they can not do what I want. Then the third one came and again asked for the data requested by the previous two. Absolutely incompetent guys.

I signed up for what I thought was a free trial. Turns out, they required my credit card just to try the platform. I never used the service once, completely forgot about it (the trial was long), and then—without any notice—a charge of $60.98 hits my card. Let’s set aside how absurd that price is for a basic collaboration tool. I contacted support, explained that I never used the platform and didn’t even recall entering my credit card. Instead of owning the situation, they shuffled me between three different agents, each one more unhelpful than the last. The end result? No refund. Just a link to their “subscription terms.” This is a company that’s happy to take your money even if you never used their product. Zero integrity. Zero customer care. You've been warned.

I've been trying to delete an organization in Asana for over two months, and their support has been absolutely terrible. They ignore support case messages for days, and when they finally respond, it's completely unhelpful. They keep saying they will contact me, but they never do. Every interaction has been a frustrating cycle of delays and empty promises. Worst support I’ve ever experienced. I do not recommend using Asana's services at all—if you ever need real assistance, don’t expect to get it from them.

I signed up for what I believed was a single-user subscription, but was charged for multiple seats without clear notice or authorization. Only after digging into the admin console and contacting support did I learn that Asana defaults paid workspaces to a minimum of two seats, with additional "fictitious" seats automatically added and billed, even though I had not added more than two users total. The onboarding and billing flows fail to clearly disclose these mechanics in a way an average user would reasonably understand—raising serious concerns under consumer protection laws related to material misrepresentation and unfair or deceptive acts and practices (UDAP). After discovering the overcharge, I requested a refund, but Asana refused, citing their subscriber agreement and rigid billing schedule. Their refusal to offer a refund—even when charges were clearly not knowingly authorized—illustrates a troubling approach to customer service and billing ethics. Asana’s stock is currently trading at around $14.50 USD, down more than 44% from its IPO, and the flood of similar complaints raises the question of whether these billing practices are being used to inflate recurring revenue. If even a portion of these reports are accurate, Asana could be exposed to class action litigation or securities fraud claims. Numerous recent reviews point to a pattern of systematic billing abuse, particularly targeting small teams and individual users. I canceled my account and regret ever signing up for the trial, which led directly to being overcharged without meaningful recourse. This platform may not be safe for users who value transparency or fair dealing. The frequency and consistency of overbilling complaints, refusal to refund, and misleading seat-based pricing suggest that practices potentially giving rise to claims for breach of contract, unjust enrichment, fraud, and consumer protection violations may not be accidental, but instead appear to be embedded in Asana’s business model.

I use Asana every day, and its very helpful for assigning tasks and sub- tasks. the reminder features are great, and it helps me stay organized with my daily planning, however, some featiures are not free, which can be a bit frustrating,

Sync wiped several boards. Tried to sync mobile app and web and ended up losing a bunch of tasks. Exchanged emails with “Reece” for weeks and got nowhere. Told to look at setting among other unhelpful options but no viable solution and in the end I was simply ghosted. Features are similar to everything else.

Avoid Asana – Misleading Pricing and Terrible Customer Service! I strongly advise against using Asana. Their pricing model is deceptive, and their customer service is completely unhelpful. They lure users in with misleading marketing, making it seem like a flexible and cost-effective solution, but once you subscribe, you realize how expensive it actually is. I was charged an outrageous amount due to their confusing seat-based pricing, and when I tried to resolve the issue, their support team refused to help in any meaningful way. Not only did they decline to adjust my subscription fairly, but they also made it clear that they don’t care about customer satisfaction. Their policies are rigid, their billing practices are predatory, and their support team offers nothing but copy-paste responses. If you make the mistake of signing up, be prepared to overpay and get zero assistance when you need it. I will be warning others about Asana’s unethical pricing structure across multiple platforms. Don’t fall for the marketing tricks – there are far better alternatives out there!
