Artisan HardwareReviews of artisanhardware.com

I ordered the sliding barn door track for use on our equipment "shed" outdoors. I had several questions about the product prior to ordering because I wanted to make sure it # 1. could be used outdoors and # 2. would hold the weight of the doors. My questions were answered very quickly. I ordered the barn door track. It was installed two days ago. It looks awesome and helps make the "shed". It rolls very smoothly. I researched other sliding barn door from other companies and felt this company was the specialty company and the one to order from, plus the price was reasonable. My only concern is .... will it hold up in the weather.? But I love it now!!!

I have ordered multiple times from Artisan. They ship very quickly and I always receive exactly what I ordered.

The hardware was just as expected. Heavy enough to handle our large barn door. It was delivered when promised.

Very helpful customer service representatives...and package was shipped next day. Items received well-packaged and without issues. Products were high quality and look great in my home!

Good customer service with timely response to help me fix my order after I realized I had left off a key component. Would recommend to anyone.

This review would be much higher as the product itself was great and works well. The trouble here is that I live somewhere other than the United States. (Canada, near Toronto) Artisan charges a flat rate fee of $300 USD no matter what you are ordering. This does not cover the duty and shipping fees. In this particular case I needed a couple of small parts (A door guide for $8 and the door hanger $60) So imagine my surprise when they tack on an additional $300 US for shipping that doesn't actually include the shipping. I received a notice from FedEx that i would be billed the additional amount. As I already had most of the parts from Artisan i had to make sure i had matching components. i contacted customer service to no avail. the best they could do is offer me a promo code. So something that should have cost me about $100 CDN now cost me close to $500 CDN. What a deal! Can't wait to order something else!!

Special product worth every penny! Very helpful staff and written instructions . On my third project, just wish I had more door openings

Very affordable hardware, pleasant staff, fast shipping............but overall quality and production of parts was marginal. If I could have seen the parts in advance I would not have ordered them. Also I returned an item via 3 day USPS shipped 8/3/18 and it is now 8/13/18. To date, no refund, credit to card, email, etc. HMMMM!
