So, I want to 5-star this product. I love the scents, I love the coverage, and the price-point associated with being able to cover a large chunk of our apartment. Shipping was responsive, and customer service seems genuine. However, it's loud. Like the kind of loud where we had to think about strategically placing the unit in the foyer, away from our normal activity, in hopes that we wouldn't hear it and the scent would filter through (this hasn't fully worked). The noise is like crickets, almost like when it goes on, we feel like we have one of those sounds of the forest tracks on. Anything with moving parts, fans, and especially diffusers, I have an expectation of some noise, but this seems excessive - as in, any potential benefit gained from the wonderful scenting is offset by the high-pitched whistling that cycles on and off. Is it the unit? Is it something I did? Is it normal? Just trying to level set...with the perception that I don't think most people think this would be "soothing" or "relaxing".

Hi Bill, I am so sorry that this is happening. The only sound you should be hearing is a "compressed air" sound when the fragrance is diffused. If you have a "whine" or "crickets" this is not a normal sound. Please contact our office so we can get this fixed. Again, this is not a normal sound, you may have just gotten a defective machine.

I wanted something to make my home smell amazing and I'm truly blessed to have found Aroma Retail. Let me tell you, this company is amazing. They offer a machine that covers up to 2000 square feet of your home. The variety of oils they offer is fantastic. I currently use Aria's Pink Grapefruit but there hasn't been an oil I've ordered from this company that I didn't like. Blue Ice from the Bellagio and Harrah's Mandarin Zest are other favorites of mine. If you have ever visited Las Vegas and you want your home to smell like the Hotels on the strip, you've come to the right place. They even have oils that they personally make. Different seasons have different smells so it's nice to change up the oil each month. They offer a monthly subscription of their oils at a discounted rate with free shipping. One bottle lasts me a month so I never run out and my house always smells great. When I have friends over, they all ask me "how do you make your home smell so good all the time"? I tell them about this company. I even had my neighbor ask and he ended up buying the machine with the oil. I recently started driving for Uber and Lyft and this company offers a travel size machine for your car. It's FANTASTIC and the passengers all tell me my Durango smells so good. I tell them all about this great company in Las Vegas. I highly recommend this product for your home and your car. Uber and Lyft drivers, I promise you that your tips will go up. The smell is so welcoming and makes the passengers want to tip even more. The customer service that Cristina and her employees offer is phenomenal. Buy the home and travel machines with the oil and get on their monthly oil subscription to save yourself money each month. You will not regret it.

Love the smell, but the candle wick was too strong and it left black smoke soot on my walls. Candle was on my middle table no where near walls. After a while I had black soot all over my from door. Had to use mr clean sponge to get it off.

Thank you for your honest review. Scented candles are very difficult to create and maintain the perfect balance between proper burning (no soot) and strong fragrance. If we increase the scent level, the candles may give out a stronger scent, but we forego the quality of the burn and possibly increase the soot produced.
