Crap service. Didn't deliver, said they had, said they had proof by way of photos. I asked them to provide and they sent me a pic of a washer in the back of a van - you couldn't see anything outside of the vehicle so had no idea where it was. Said they were looking into it back in September, it's now November and they have not contacted me. Tried emailing and calling, no response - blaming COVID... Utter sheisters. They owe me £300. Taking money for something and then not delivering it is theft!

Fridge Freezer arrived damage. They sorted a replacement out with 7 days had a new one with old one taken away at the same time. Great delivery drivers, Brought the fridge Freezer in when they did not have to. Things arrive damaged but the way they sorted it was great. Perfect thank you.

I ordered and paid for a fridge freezer in July and have had the delivery date delayed 5 times so far. I complained and was given a standard 'very sorry' letter with my name and product cut and pasted.

Tempted by an alternate provider for a fridge freezer at a good price, but fiasco dealing with them from start to finish which lasted 4 weeks of stress, anxiety and disappointment. After ordering and paying for delivery we received a damaged fridge. The delivery men knew it was already damaged as there was a massive hole in the box. They cunningly made sure the hole was facing away from me and left it on the step so I was blocked in the house, knowing full well the fridge was damaged. No signature was taken and when I asked if I could check it first they said they were not authorised to wait. They literally ran back to the van and drove off. To my horror when I asked my family to help me bring it inside we immediately saw the hole and through that could see a dent in the door. I contacted them by phone and email and was left to wait for a 'callback' which took days to happen. They would not come to collect it till a week later and ordered a replacement after initially telling us there was no stock which added to the confusion. The following week different drivers picked up the damaged fridge but this time I waited outside the house for them and said I would not accept delivery unless I checked it and if it was damaged as well they had to take it back that day as I would not accept keeping a fridge in my hall for another week. Reluctantly they agreed and we discovered this fridge was damaged too and also had a small hole in the box. The drivers let me repack the fridge as I had carefully unpacked it without ripping anything and I asked for a refund. The refund did not happen until more than a week later after 6 further emails and 2 phone calls. (We ordered a different fridge, more expensive, from AO but had a completely different, stress-free experience). I would avoid Appliances Direct at all costs and would never order from them again. If I could give no stars I would have.

ABYSMAL! Only word for them. Bought a Buffalo NAS 220 8TB for £249.97, plus £9.99 for chosen day delivery. Didn't turn up, rang helpline, got callback, told coming from 3rd party supplier, so agent would check and call me following day. No callback Several calls and 5 days later, told item is out of stock, asked would I like to choose alternative? Check site, and lo and behold, there is the very item, in stock, BUT at £319.97!!! £70 mark up on the same item I had ordered!! Asked for refund, won't be dealing with this bunch of shysters again!

DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY!!!!! I ordered dishwasher 2 months ago as they claimed this machine was in stock and delivery with in week! I wanted quick as possible as I have very poorly arm and hand! They have keep changing delivery date via email! I try to call and email them with no luck!! After waiting 2 months now they have set up a new date 30th October! Which is not right!!! There is no moral on this company specially they have advertised this machine was in stock!!! They may use Corvid as a excuse for item not been available but not the customer service!!!!!!!! WILL NEVER USED APPLIANCE DIRECT EVER!!!! They have left me feeling very upset specially I can’t use my hand to wash!!

Won't answer messages. Took over a week for an initial response re faulty goods then they send daft messages instead of authorising a return just to put you off using warranty. I'm contacting trading standards. Won't buy from this lot again.

They Do not reply to e mails for collection of unwanted item although they have given a returns ref number. I agree with comment that they are using Covid as excuse not to respond. Never use again. Abingdon Ps would not give them one star.
