Took so long to find 1 peice for them to build it and it came broken in the mail which meant I had to spend £700+ for repairs

Thank you for bringing this to our attention and we're very sorry to hear this happened. For future reference, we are able to replace components that are damaged under these circumstances via our hardware warranty. As you saw, we package our systems extensively, but shipping damage is sometimes unfortunately unavoidable, particularly with international orders. We hope you understand that shipping damage is outside of our control, but we will still do whatever we can to make you whole.
We are unable to identify your order with the information you've provided, and we were unable to locate any similar case in our open or recent tickets. If you would like our assistance resolving this matter, please reach out to us at [email protected] and we're happy to help.

Replaced PSU + More. poor customer support
I spent roughly $3,500 on a custom built pc with compatible parts. It took 3 months for them to build and ship the computer. Although they communicated their delays, they did not tell me why it was delayed. After 3 months of waiting it finally arrived.. only at the wrong address. I finally got it and set it up. After about a week, I found an issue. When experiencing high usage, the PSU’s (750W Manik power supply) internal safety mechanism would be tripped, causing the computer to shut off. This sometimes happened on boot. After dealing with this for months, I finally replaced it with a Corsair RM850e. No issues since. Apex experienced a recall of about 17000 units due to no proper safety labeling. I got a letter in the mail about how the unit was “unsafe” and I needed to “put this sticker on the unit” after I replaced the already faulty power supply. On top of that, it came with the gpu bracket incorrectly mounted, so I had to reposition it in order to plug in my monitors. Manik’s (apex’s house brand) poorly made fans rock and click inside the case. The Manik case has very poor airflow. The BT and WIFI adapters Apex sent were flimsy and broke almost immediately. After replacing nearly every part in the computer, it runs like a dream. I’d like to say this is user error but there were no other options for these faulty parts.

Hi there,
We’re really sorry to hear about your experience — that’s definitely not the performance we expect from our systems.
We want to clarify that we only use brand new components in all of our builds, and every PC is thoroughly tested before it leaves our facility. Based on what you’re describing, it’s very possible the issue is related to the CMOS being reset during shipping, which can sometimes cause boot looping. The good news is that this is typically a quick and easy fix.
It does look like we hadn’t received any prior contact from you about this issue, so we weren’t aware you were experiencing problems. Every system we sell includes lifetime technical support and is backed by a warranty, and we’re always here to help — we just need customers to reach out so we can step in.
We’ve sent you an email and would really appreciate the chance to work with you directly to get this resolved as quickly as possible. Our goal is to make sure your PC is running exactly as it should.

Replaced Mother Board. Be very wary
If I could rate this less I would. This team was great until a mother board ethernet driver went bad. I offered to replace the board rather than shipping the computer back and waiting forever to get it turned around. So I paid for the new board with the indication it would be credited when the old one was returned. After waiting well over a month+, I get a note from them that the original mother board was damaged and credit would not be forthcoming. When the board left my possession the damage to the board was not there. Yet it was shipped in the same container and paced the same as the replacement board. with yet another $800 investment in a $6,000 computer, I am of the opinion that I was taken for a ride. I an not a happy customer.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about your frustration and understand how disappointing this situation has been.
To clarify a few important points, the deposit for the replacement motherboard was $230, not $800. This deposit is refunded once the original component is returned in a condition that allows the manufacturer to process it under their replacement policy.
In this case, the returned motherboard unfortunately had extensive physical damage to the interior of the CPU socket. This type of damage makes the component ineligible for manufacturer replacement. It’s also important to note that the motherboard was received by us with the protective plastic socket cover still in place. Because of this, the damage could not have occurred during shipping, as the cover would have prevented any contact with the socket pins in transit.
We absolutely do work with customers to file shipping claims when damage occurs during transit. However, based on the condition in which the board was received, this was not consistent with shipping-related damage.
We strive to be as transparent as possible with our replacement process and policies, and we regret that this situation did not meet your expectations. If you would like to discuss this further, we’re happy to review the case with you again and answer any remaining questions.

Will not power on
PC was delivered late and will not power on out of the box. I am pretty savvy and they are giving me the run around asking the normal IT questions, did you try a different outlet, etc. I told them 3 times I tested different outlets, different cords, different locations and it will not power on. I was delivered a $1400 paperweight...
Response from Apex Gaming PCsMar 18, 2026
We’re really sorry to hear about your experience—this is absolutely not the kind of first impression we want you to have.
After reviewing our support history, we were only able to find one instance where we asked about trying a different power outlet. We understand how frustrating it can feel to be asked basic troubleshooting questions, especially when you’ve already taken those steps. That said, when a system isn’t powering on, it’s critical for us to verify each part of the power chain to rule out any external causes before moving forward with deeper diagnostics.
We want to reassure you that your PC was fully tested and confirmed to be working properly before it left our facility. However, issues can occasionally occur during shipping, and we take situations like this very seriously.
At this point, we’ve already initiated a return for repair so we can get hands-on with your system and resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Our team will prioritize your case to ensure your PC is repaired and returned to you as fast as humanly possible.
We truly appreciate your patience and the effort you’ve already put into troubleshooting. We’ll make this right.

Ordered a PC
Ordered a PC. They needed verification of a merchant ID with my bank account. Didn't feel comfortable giving that to them. Their automatic messages spammed me saying they can NOT proceed with order, then another message saying they are almost done building. I asked for a full refund if they can't do it without the merchant ID. A week later, they said they'd refund. Another week later, they said they're going to charge me 20% off the full order for restocking. There was no negotiating because they were holding my $2,000 I needed to shop elsewhere. They have no customer service to call at your convenience. But, they will call you whenever you are unavailable. I'm sure they are great and I'm stubborn. However, I ended up ordering with NZXT and they were effortless, which is what I was looking for.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re sorry that this order did not work out as smoothly as either of us would have liked.
We'd like to clarify a few important points: all of your messages, both via live chat and email, were responded to promptly by our team. The verification we requested was not personal information; the merchant ID is something we already had on file and simply needed to confirm because the billing information you provided did not match what was registered with the payment method. This is a standard fraud-prevention step required to protect both the customer and our business.
When you requested a cancellation, we processed a full refund of the order. No restocking fee was charged. The only portion that could not be returned was the sales tax already remitted to the state, as state taxes are legally non-refundable once paid.
We understand that our communication during the verification process felt confusing, particularly with automated status messages overlapping manual updates, and we appreciate that feedback, it’s something we continually work to improve. Our team does make outbound calls when needed, I personally attempted to reach you on four separate occasions, and we apologize if those attempts did not line up well with your availability.
We respect your decision to purchase elsewhere and genuinely wish you the best with your new system. Thank you again for your feedback, as it helps us improve our processes and customer experience.

Ordered a motherboard
Ordered a motherboard. Never received. They claim USPS lost it. Apex wanted me to wait until after claim was settled before resending my order. After 3rd week of B.S. back and forth, I cancelled order. I found the MB cheaper at another site. Will never deal with this company again.
Response from Apex Gaming PCsJan 12, 2026
Thank you for taking the time to provide us with this feedback. This shipment was unfortunately lost by the USPS. In these situations, we do need the carrier to replace the item as they are liable for losing it. We did issue a refund ahead of the USPS claim being paid as you requested. We're very sorry this process took longer than you would have liked, and we hope you understand our only options in these situations are to get the item replaced or issue a refund, which we did.
