Got stuck with them after they bought cozy.co. Why cozy.co didn't buy them instead is baffling. The difference in service is huge. Cozy was excellent, apartments website is abysmal.

I checked the awful apartment complex I live at to see its review - 5 stars. But the tenant reviews are all 1 and 2 stars. Not just a few - nearly 100. The only 5 stars are fake - "Our townhouse style garden apartment is surrounded by grass & trees but just steps from every urban convenience." The website claims the score is a "blended review" of multiple factors. I'm not sure what the factors are, but they are also giving fake numbers on rent. It looks like my rent money is paying for maintaining my apartment's score on apartments.com, not my actual apartment.

All these real estate companies do not take down the rented or sold properties. They want people to leave their information on desirable apartments and properties so they can send you information on undesirable apartments and properties. Stay away from this company. You've been warned.

The ratings on the units are bogus based on where I currently live. Currently trying to find an apartment elsewhere. It states on their site places are available when I need to move in yet so far none of them have been. The property claims to have updated it on their end and there is nothing for me to be able to report an error. Just seems useless if the ratings are not based on real experiences nor the availability is accurate.

Apartments.com has done me wrong as a renter and as a property manager. I've reviewed 2 apartments on their site at apartments.com and they deleted or challenged both reviews, probably because they were more honest and informative than those property managers wanted them to be. More recently as an asst. property manager I have been approached by prospective tenants telling me they saw my available listings on apartments.com, when I had no listings available. I went to apartments.com and it appeared that another property manager or company was listing MY OWN units. They had real photos of the exterior but then they had made up photos & details of the interiors. I reached out to apartments.com and they insisted there was no fraud in someone else selling my units and refused to take the false postings down down. Next I phoned and emailed the false post's supposed manager for my property, and that property manager turned out to be real good person & a second victim. They had also been begging apartments.com to remove the false listing because it didn't help them either to have their info attached to my property. So there is some weird sabotage afoot with apartments.com, and when 2 separate and legitimate property managers asked them to correct false info about their properties, apartments.com refused. They also sent unsuspecting apartment hunters that trust apartments.com astray. I realized it happened March 9, 2021 but I'd had interested renters stopping by my property to check it out before then and I was confused because I was like "I haven't any posted any units for rent here in years and don't know of any vacancies..."

Apartment.com has erased my honest reviews about Wesley St. Claire Apartments. They must be getting paid from these apartment companies. Here is my honest review of Wesley St. Claire Apartments Lawrenceville, GA : This place is roach infested and our apartment had roaches everywhere. They would send pest control people but even after sprays roaches would return the very next day. There was mold issue in the bathroom maintenance never fixed it. We had to throw all the groceries and several personal items including furniture. (Because we didn't want to carry roach eggs with us). After moving office staff wants us to pay for utilities we didn't use and stove drip pans replacement costs in spite of providing a brand new set.

Overhyped on celebrity advertising. Can't trust their "costar rating system" since it's all paid for by the apartment buildings. Their star ratings are bogus and not representative of actual consumer reviews.
