Onsite Apartment Manager needs to take Apartment Management 101
This review is for the onsite Apartment Manager of St. Phillip's Corner Apartments, Danielle Reyes. She "believes" herself to be a model for exemplary apartment management; when in fact, she desperately needs to take a comprehensive refresher course in Apartment Management 101. She was instrumental in influencing the current Property Management owner, Gina Gastelum, to serve me notice that my lease of 2 years would not be renewed this past March; despite having absolutely ZERO property violations. My rent was always paid on time, I had renter's insurance in place, and my apartment was always immaculate with no damages whatsoever. Additionally, it took her over a month to get the gentleman who takes care of maintenance the protective work gear he clearly required. There are constant water leaks and flooding occurring on the property, and one of the tenants had to live with a hole in her floor and wall for months, resulting from said water damage. The entrance gate took over 3 months to fix, leaving the tenants at risk for theft and other possible malicious acts. Yet she kept the office door locked; siting "her" need for safety and protection. She has allowed the swimming pool to fill with green algae several times, and expects the maintenance man to clean it up, vs hiring a professional pool company. The complex itself is quiet, and the grounds are well-kept...and Hector, the Maintenance man, is exemplary. My opinion is...be careful if you live here. Both Danielle and Gina seem to be in need of a semblance of power and control over the tenants; and if one does not acquiesce to such...one may be given "notice."
