Hi Maria, I'm sorry you had this experience with us. We strive to partner with property management companies across the country who share our values. Unfortunately, while we perform initial data validations, we rely on these partners to verify the credibility of their listings. If you encountered any specific listings that you would like to report, email the addresses to [email protected] and we will take care of them right away. Our sincere apologies again. Best, Olivia

Hi Tibs, Thank you so much for this feedback. I understand you’ve received some listings that are outside of your preferred price. Why? At Apartment List, we like to give you options. So we’ve created different categories of matches, some of which flex on budget or location in order to provide more options for you. If you find that some properties you’re matched with are too far away from your desired location or not the right price, you can skip those categories entirely or just click the “thumbs down” button on those listings. They’ll be moved to your “not for me” category. I understand this can be frustrating, and hear you that it gives a bad impression of our product and intentions. We are continually making improvements to our product and I will pass your feedback along to the rest of the team. Thank you again, Olivia

Hi Cate, We value and appreciate your feedback about the design and user experience on our site. We strive to give renters the best possible experience when searching for their new home, and are continually making improvements to our product. In fact, we just made an update that should help with the issue you were experiencing with travel time! I will pass the feedback about mis-represented amenities on to our client services team- we appreciate the heads up. Warmly, Olivia

Hi Dominique, We are so sorry to hear this was your experience. We take fraudulent listings very seriously at Apartment List. This is why we partner directly with the majority of the properties we have listed on our platform. That said, we do partner with data providers for smaller units across the country. While we do perform basic data validation for these properties, we rely on those partners to verify the credibility of their listings. If you believe you have encountered a listing that seems wrong, please email us at [email protected] us so we can investigate! Best, Olivia

Hi Taylor, I'm sorry you were having issues with the UI! You should be able to see the properties before having to decide if you like it, love it or if it isn't for you. If you continue to encounter issues, please let us know at [email protected] and we will be happy to troubleshoot with you. Warmly, Olivia

Hi Ms. Blossom, We're so sorry to hear about this situation and appreciate you letting us know. We take fraudulent listings very seriously here at Apartment List, and I'm so sorry it took us 6 months to get back to you last time. We have recently reorganized teams and processes to address just that, and ensure that all renters are getting the support they need. I personally am looking into how we can not only be more responsive to scams, but also find them proactively so no one else experiences what you did. My sincerest apologies that we weren't able to do that for you. Warmly, Olivia

Hi Michelle, Thank you for taking the time to submit this. Whenever we discover that you're a great match for a specific property, we ask if you would like to send your info to that community. If you click "ok thanks", we send your contact information, but if you click "no thanks" - we don’t notify the community. I'll pass your feedback along to our product team to ensure the description is more clear going forward! And if you encountered anything that you felt was a scam that you would like to report to us, please don't hesitate to reach out to [email protected]. Best, Olivia
