At Apartment List we’ve created different categories of matches, some of which broaden the location of your search or flex within your budget or amenity preferences in order to provide more options for you. If you find that some properties you’re matched with are too far outside your preferences, you can skip those categories entirely or just click the “thumbs down” button on those listings. They’ll be moved to your “not for me” category. That said, I will pass your feedback along to our product team as we are always looking to improve our product!
