Thanks so much for taking the time to share this feedback: we're always expanding our inventory, but our "flex" feature shows listings above your budget that meet your criteria to maximize the options you see. I hear you that flex can feel unhelpful and that you want to see more listings in nearby areas, will pass this info along to the product team! -Melissa, Customer Experience

Hi, I understand you’ve received some listings that are outside of your preferred budget. We totally understand not being able to flex beyond your budget so you can skip those categories entirely or just click the “thumbs down” button on those listings.

Hi Kristi, I'm sorry you're having this issue. Unfortunately, ApartmentList can not offer a resolution to this issue as we are just the platform that provides the listings. We would suggest speaking with the properties you are applying to. Thank you!

Hi Duane, Thank you for your review! I'm sorry to hear you've been getting properties outside of your price range. At Apartment List, we like to give you options so we’ve created different categories of matches, some of which broaden the budget of your search in order to provide more options for you. We also totally understand not being able to flex beyond your budget so you can skip those categories entirely or just click the “thumbs down” button on those listings. They’ll be moved to your “not for me” category. I will also relay your feedback about being able to submit an application through us! That would certainly be a time saver as well as a money saver! Please let us know if we can do anything to assist you. Warmly, Olivia
