AngelSenseReviews of angelsense.com

To be fair, it works 2 thirds of the time which makes that other third a little unnerving. Bad weather disrupts the signals as well as a lot of erratic signaling. Some slow notifications and no communication can make you quite nervous. It would be okay if it was spread out occasionally, but unfortunately it is quite frequent. Looking for upgrades soon that helps with it but haven't gotten notified of any since started months ago. G-Mom.

My husband and I spent months looking for a tracking device for our son and researched practically every product out there. We even tried a couple of others, but AngelSense is by far the best one!! I love being able to check on him during the day, see where he is and listen to him while he's in daycare. It's so reassuring to know that if if he'll be at a location that he's not supposed to be at, we'll immediately get a text message sent to our phone. From two parents to a sweet boy with autism that finally sleep well at night... thank you thank you thank you!!!

Great item for people with disabilities to track them

I tried and searched for so many other devices to help with tracking my son and knowing where he is every moment. It's a huge relief. He started a new school today but most of my anxiety and stress was reduced because I knew I would have angel sense on him. Knowing where he exactly, being able to listen in and getting the updates it's all such a blessing! I'm so happy I have angel sense a chance and recommend it to my friends and family all the time.

I have a child with autism who likes to go on "adventures" I am grateful that AngelSense has a product to help me keep track of him. I would recommend this product, however here are the two problems I have with it. 1. When setting a location that is listed regularly you can only use a circle which gives off a lot of false alerts because most buildings a square or rectangle. Your options are to either make the radius too small so it fits in the building or make it too large so that if he escapes it won't alert until he is really far away. 2. My other issue is the website. It is really tough to navigate if you already have a product and want to order a replacement due to damage. If these could be fixed it would be a 5 star company.

I got Angel sense do i would feel safer in big cross situations with my son with Down Syndrome who often runs off. He wrote it a few times but frankly it's just too bulky and he hasn't worn it since. I also wish that the tracking was faster. The pouch opening is too small and the battery life only last about 6 hours which isn't good for all day outings.

We have been trying to find the right GPS product for our teen who has had behavior and trust problems. The accuracy of the device is very precise and can tell us even what building the device is in during the day. This was the main reason we wanted the device therefore it meets our need. The tracking is overall very reliable and only on certain occasions has the tracking lagged. But those have been so minimal that we've overlooked them. The battery life in reality is about 10-11 hours. He leaves the house at 6:30 and has sports after school and the GPS dies around 5. So if you need longer batter life then you may need to take that into consideration. The device advertises that you can call it and it can allow you to hear what is going on around the child. This is true however, connectivity to the phone network is sporadic and inconsistent. So much so that it's generally not even used. Again, if this is something that you will need then you may want to consider that it may not be reliable. Overall as a product we are very satisfied. If there was a way to have longer battery life that would be ideal for our context.

In the beginning customer service was 5 out of 5 stars with quick email replies. During the past 2 to 3 months customer response time has been very very slow with email responses taking a week or longer to reply. You have a great product but when you are selling a product that deals with someone's personal safety the response time should be as quick as possible. I hope I'm not discouraging angel sense. It's a great product and I think you are leading the way, but the customer service needs to improve a bit. The device itself is good. I think with upcoming technology I hope you are able to produce a smaller device with better cell and GPS strength. The app is good but I think the geofence could be improved on a bit. Right now you can only set up a circular fence. I would like to see users be able to set up a square fence or rectangular fence as 99.9% of buildings or playgrounds are either square or rectangular in shape. This could cut down on response time which with special needs people could save lives. Seconds count.
