If I could give ZERO or NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD. It has been almost two months since my propane delivery request and still no sign of delivery. I’ve spoken to so many customer service reps at the local and National level and they have no idea what is happening internally either. All I can say is, get your act together and have some integrity. Don’t take our money if you can’t deliver.

The absolute worst customer service…
The absolute worst customer service experience I have ever had and I served in the United States Army. They lied to me they took my money filled my tank when they shouldn't have and then cut my service and then have the testicular fortitude to tell me it was going to be over 10 days before my services could be restored. Do NOT use this company if you can avoid it.

I tried to ask a question about my…propane
I tried to ask a question about my propane account, and have had Amerigas for 19 yrs....and was UNABLE to talk to an ENGLISH speaking person. Everyone was from India. I believe the people on the phone were NOT in the United States of America ! Really upset me!
Finally I had to go through the emergency number to FINALLY talk to an American speaking person. Did Amerigas SELL OUT TO INDIA? Do I need to get another propane company? Im afraid so!
Very dissapointed

After having AmeriGas for over 20…
After having AmeriGas for over 20 years, I have always been happy with our local distributor but they sold out. Run like heck folks if you are considering gettingyourpropanefrom them. Hours on the phone and multiple calls are necessary even if they let you run out. I pity the poor delivery guys. It's hard to see another good American company destroyed by another that truly doesn't care about their customers.

Never use Amerigas
So we are their automatic refill, ran out of propane and they say emergency refill will take days. Their customer service line sucks they only state policy and if you ask for a supervisor they hang up on you. Do not use this company. The worst customer service ever. No way to talk to anyone on local level and one of the calls there was so much static that I was told to call back

After being a 30 year client
After being a 30 year client, I have gone 13 days without propane. My area has not gotten any snow or sleet however they closed due to road issues...No One Cares!!! Have installed an new electric system before they even can get me service. They take your money and let you hang, do not care about customer service at all. Even wrote the president Mr. Lundan, he does not care either.

Service so bad it should be illegal
I let my gas tank reach 0%, since I'm new to using gas for heat. My wife called Amerigas to get it refilled, and they said they can refill in 10 days. During this 10 days, the high is in the 40s, and the low is as low as 17 and below freezing every day. This is unsafe temperatures for a family with kids, and unsafe for the pipes in the house. For this reason, my wife pleaded with them to expedite the process, and they hung up on her. Then she called back, and they hung up again. Then I called at around 1pm, and they said they could expedite it within 24 hours for $300 and $200 for 72 hours. I went with the $300, and I got off the call pleased. But then I noticed that I didn't get the text message she said I would get, so I called back at 6pm and they said they had no record of the expedited delivery, so I had them set it up again. This wasn't easy, since the rep had to get her manager to assist. Finally, they were able to set it up, and I got the text message, so I only had to deal with this cold for 1 day. Then the next day came, and they still didn't show up. I called at 5pm to ask about the status, and she said it was $300 for 24 to 48 hours, but that was never said and that was also not what was in the text or my account of their website, which both said "expedited 1 day". I bought this house with an Amerigas tank, so I'm stuck with them as a provide, but they are literally willing to destroy my house, since they know it's not easy for me to get another supplier. Avoid at all costs. If you are buying a house with an Amerigas installed, then make them remove the tank before you purchase, so you can get a different supplier.

It’s been 9 days with no heat
I know AmeriGas won’t care about this review. I was told I’m a “dining room number” AmeriGas didn’t like, but I’m writing this review in hopes others will see this and choose another company for service. I have paid off my entire account balance. I’m a single mom of two. I’m doing the best I can to provide for my babies and give them a warm place to come home to. We have been without heat for 9 days now after being told I was put on an emergency delivery. They filled my tank on the 8th day while I was at work. Locked my tank because by the time they had gotten to me my tank became empty and now they have to check for leaks and light my pilot. Never once alerted me that they were at my home and needed to do service or they would lock the tank. After waiting for them to come fill my tank for 7 full days all to realize they filled it but I still can’t use the heat. They want to charge me $149 to check for leaks and $69 to flip a switch and light my pilot. They can’t give me a date for them to come back out they just tell me someone will call me to schedule and that could be another week. We have just had a snowstorm and temperatures are extreme. I feel as if I’m being held hostage to this tank and AmeriGas. I have called multiple times expressing my concerns my babies are getting sick all to be hung up on and sent to a survey every time. I’m convinced the supervisor doesn’t exist.
