We got automatically switched to Amerigas and they may be among the worst in service I've ever experienced. No way to contact them. They promised to come out to install a remote tank monitor TODAY at 4 PM. We traveled in from out of town because they insisted we be there and NO SHOW. No courtesy to call. No way to contact. We will be looking for another propane suppler, but do yourself a favor and find a better one for yourself. They are aggravatingly awful

This company is absolutely awful. They lie to you, give you the run around & have zero concern for customer service. Steer clear of this company. 4 days in a row we've tried to get our delivery of propane and have gotten no where.

I'm not sure how they stay in business. I tried to have a tank installed and was going to use their rental program. I can't get a call back to schedule a review of the property and I can't get them to call. I went with a competitor. I will own the tank so I can use any provider but will not use AmeriGas. AmeriGas should fire all management of their customer service judging by all the one star ratings.

Horrible customer service..ripping me off, not refunding me propane in rented tank I paid for, after I closed account..absolutely the worst. . They charged me $149.99 to remove my 1/2 full tank and my year rent for the tank was $141.87 and I only used the tank for 6 weeks. I changed companies due to the ridiculously high rates for gas and the tank rental. Funny how they billed me for the tank removal within 2 days, yet they have not credited my acct for the returned tank rental and the propane inside...I called and talked to Ray, he's in India....he was nice but hard to understand....HE SAID NOT TO PAY BILL, MY REFUND WOULD OFF SET THE ACCOUNT...WHAT ABOUT LATE FEES...NO WORRIES WE WILL WAIVE THOSE......somehow I just don't believe them and I will need to hire an attorney!!!!! Amerigas YOU OWE ME MORE MONEY THAN I OWE YOU!! Do the right thing!!!! NEVER EVER DO BUSINESS WITH AMERIGAS

I’m on automatic fill up last year during thanksgiving dinner I ran out of gas. Two weeks ago I called because my tank was low , I was to get a delivery between September 18th and 25th. No delivery! I called today 26th and they told me I would get a delivery in the next 48 hours! Omg they suck! Worst service ever!

The single worst utility with the worst customer service ever. Had a propane tank moved several feet due to construction. Took three phone calls with the non-English speaking outsourced "customer service" people to arrange this, none of them mentioned there would be a $600/hour charge, plus $69 to take the order. While I have been trying to resolve these issues, to which I have received zero response they are charging $30 a month late fee.

I cannot call customer service without it taking less than an hour. They put you on hold constantly and for a very long time. They don’t tell you though, so you sit and wonder if you should hang up or keep waiting. Even the easiest questions take an unreasonable amount of time to be addressed and answered…their website is a mess too.
