America's Best Contacts & EyeglassesReviews of americasbest.com

You charged me $85 dollars for an exam that was supposed to be free. Now I see that there is one examination that is free and another which is not. So the information they gave me was confusing. In the end, the reading glasses they gave me were defective and you only refunded me $10 once they told me I had to leave the glasses! Never again not me not my family not my friends. Ever!

This place is a joke! I went on April 16th. Sat forever in waiting room. Doctor had the personality of a wet mop. She thoroughly looked like she just loved her job {sarcasm}. Exam was about 15 minutes (if that) I know I have Astigmatism, but nowhere did I see that on the paperwork. After exam I'm trying to find out where I pick up my contacts. I assumed I got them there nope; I was given a website to go to, but she acted like I was supposed to know that. I said what if I don't like the contacts that was prescribed to me? Don't you have a trial pair here or something? The lady at the desk did go get me a pair to try, again I had to ask for them no one volunteered them. Any who 😉 I call today because I'm really having trouble with ones I got. Takes for ever to get them in, usually I am trying at least 4-6 times and have to finagle and use 2 fingers. They look big. Once they get close to the 2 week end mark it's hard to get them out! So, I ask about getting another brand and was told because it's been over 45 days from the date of my exam, (May 31st was the 45th day so as of today it's been 58 days) I would have to pay for another exam to get another brand of contacts! WHAT!?!? NO ONE SAID ANYTHING ABOUT COMING IN BEFORE 45 days and I could try something else EVER!! I said that's a crock, I'll go elsewhere if I have to pay. The lady on the phone said they didn't want to lose my business and ask someone in the store if they could do a free exam or a reduced price one, they said no. Now Americas Best do you really think I would come back there pay full price for an exam I just had 58 days ago? Hell no I'm not going back there I've scheduled my appointment elsewhere that has great reviews. I should have listened to the reviews I read that said this place is a joke, do not go there. Lesson learned and I will not be back, and I will sure post everywhere I can and let all my friends and family know not to go there either. This was Americas Best Eyecare at the Shoppes of Deerfield in Mason Ohio.

Avoid the Eastvale location on Cantu-Galleano at all costs !! I went in for a contact lenses exam on May 4th. Today is June 5th and I have still not heard back for my fitting trials. They will leave you in the dark and NOT follow up with anything, complete incompetence. THERE IS ONLY ONE OPTOMETRIST ONSITE so no one has the expertise to help yoj

The doctors and staff were all professional, courteous, and friendly. The store was clean and we had a great vision experience.

I’m not sure what’s is going, the staff that worked there had canceled my appointment three times each month because Doctors are not working the days on my appointment I just don’t believed them. This was not right to me after waiting for three months to be seen. Horrible customer service

I brought two eye glasses, which one of them were Sunglasses. I went to America’s Best and they messed up my seeing eye glasses. They didn’t point it out because they were hoping I wouldn’t notice it. How dishonest they are. But I did notice it but they didn’t even care. They didn’t offer to fix their companies mistake. They even told me they were going to CHARGE me more money because I brought my two frames, which was a total of $403.00. I brought in my designer frame and the left side had three rind-stones and they lost all three of them and never bothered to fix their mistakes. I’m wondering did they do that intentionally because I brought my own frames? The people who work for companies these days are careless, lazy, and just do not care. My frame is now ruined by THEM and they don’t even care. Do not EVER go to this company.

Waiting a month for a pair of eyeglasses which I sorely need is a bit too much. The doctor was great! The staff seemed okay. Ordered two pairs. One with all the bells and whistles, transition lenses, anti-glare, the usual progressive lenses which I need at my age. The second pair with only the progressive lenses as a spare pair. The second spare pair came in. Took about ten business days. Still waiting on the first pair. It's going on a month now. Had to get a pair of fit over sunglasses from Amazon. Those are great. And for $18 I got a sturdy pleather case for them AND a cleaning cloth. Did I get any of that from America's Best? You're kidding, right? I doubt I'll be going back. Maybe the first pair will be in by July the fourth, maybe December 25fh, haven't a clue. This is ridiculous

I wish to God I had consulted this web site B/4 going to this place!!! Eye exam was fine Dr. even hinted that there was a division between the insurance people & the Doctors. I was relying on them to tell me TRUTHLY what the insurance covered. Picked out two frames & when the GM finally got around to helping me she abruptly stated that neither fit me correctly. She jumped up & she chose the frame not me, her then she just left & went to help someone else. Things went downhill after that they seemed more interested in charging as much as possible to insurance as they were able. I only wanted one pair of glasses, no frills I told the guy twice not to put on any add one & he completely went against my wishes & picked a fight when I stood my ground. The guy looked like ZZ Top w/that beard!! The GM was wearing a dress with a neckline that left nothing to the imagination!! She looked like she was out clubbing. Decided on the way back home to cut my losses & cancelled the order as soon as I got home!! There was just something creepy & unsettling about the whole works!!! I have finally reached the conclusion in my life that a bad situation does not improve over time it just gets spoiled & rotten!!! Word to the wise take your business elsewhere!!! You've been warned!!!
