errible customer service , they have me on speaker phone i could not hear her and they hang up on me i called 3 more times and they did not want to tell me price of a eye exam or even if they take my insurance...all they kept saying the make an apt. And they can do somethi g if my insurance it not covered.... Don not recomend this place..

There is a reason this company has such a low rating. I have used them before in another state and thought maybe they might be better here but i was wrong... there must be a condition of hiring that requires employees to master laziness and poor customer communications. This last experience at the Lakeland florida location, every time I went there, even when the store is hardly busy, most of the people are either bull shitting with each other or just sitting in front of a computer. I had to ask for assistance every time??? then then acted like i was bothering them. Plus, my order was a remake and it sat around the store for a week before the sent it back to the lab. I have learned my lesson. NO MORE, no matter how much more i have to pay. and the glasses were simply distance vision.

When I went to America’s best, I was prepared for the upsell what I wasn’t prepared for was the dishonesty. It took me approximately an hour to get the technician to tell me how I could get the $149.99 deal For the exam and two pairs of progresses. I did finally leave and successfully got the deal, but I had to fight for it and that’s ridiculous. I’ll never be going there again.

10 minute exam great. 1 1/2 hours to enter the paperwork into the system so I can buy glasses.Next day walk in to pay for said glasses. Price is higher then the nightbefore. Spend another 30 minutes and they cannot get the order in. Maybe if I speak to the manager they can figure it out in the morning. Lack of knowledge of your system. No organization. Lack of leadership present. Clearly have a bad reputation already

The only reason I give it any stars is the staff if friendly. I called and asked if they did diabetic eye exams. When they asked for insurance cards, I provided Medicare and my Aetna supplement.. Nobody told me ubtil later when I called that they dont take medicare. I ended up being charged $55.00. Had I known that ahead of time , I would not have had it done. I have had eye exams for glasses (free with purchase) twice before but not annual exams.I will probably buy my glasses elsewhere.

I had one of the worst experiences I have ever had in their establishment yesterday. Their technician (KIANA) was incredibly rude to me. She did not greet me when I walked in the room, she did not make eye contact, she acted like she was angry with me the entire time, and she did not explain the process to me at all. She then proceeded to become frustrated when I did not know what to do next. I find all of this very disturbing. She seems ill equipped to work with the public. I can't imagine they want that type of attitude representing their business? I am a business owner myself. I found all of this so disrespectful and rude. Deborah Stanton

Tried to fix eyeglass prescription twice and vision still poor. Refused to return my money.

The staff at the store at 8650 N. Flintlock in Kansas City MO provided outstanding service. They went above and beyond....thanks!
