Ordered several items, same style, same size. They were sized wildly differently. There is no customer service number. You have to wade through chatbot prompts for 10 minutes before you can even send a message. Then they take several days to get back to you. Then they want you to take measurements and photos. Meanwhile, you still can't exchange it yet. More waiting. They actively discourage you from exchanging something in the hopes that you'll give up. Customer service nightmare. Never again.

This is my first time ordering from this company and I will never make that mistake again. I am tall but very slender and have been looking tirelessly for pants that fit. With no luck; I decided to look at American Tall online store. The website touted that their length and sizes differ from other mall clothing stores. I placed quite an order. When received the clothing (pants) they were all huge and not that long at all. As for the legging there is a big band thing sewn across the waist to the hip area; which for a smaller size person form bulks on both sides of the hips. The company is not unique in that their sizing reflects the mentality that somehow that the taller females are is the bigger are in size. I immediately returned the whole order. Experienced some difficulty during the process. Tried to get help from the bot. Hopeless! In the end I figured out that one has to click on either the option for store credit or a refund to original form of payment. Lastly, I was left with a return shipping cost of $12.99 CAD for nothing. American Tall should follow other companies and provide free return shipping for all first time online orders.

I paid for expedited shipping and the items never shipped. Cant get in touch with anyone to find out when/ if the items will ever ship. A label was created at USPS and that’s where it ended. The bot chat they have as their “customer service” is infuriating. It’s not help or support. I will never order anything from them again.

As a tall girl, i ordered 2 pairs of sweats during black friday - both were too big so i decided to order them in a smaller size before sending them back. The delivery was quick so i chose to wait before sending the original package back to avoid doing 2 trips to the post office if the other pairs don’t fit well either. I had also added a pair of leggings for my mom and a pair of smart trousers. Nothing fit - everything was baggy in places where it should not be baggy. The measurements were off entirely, it expected my waist to be small (as it was) but it then was shaped as an overly hourglass-like figure. Anyways, I had to return everything which cost me 70.- £??? This is honestly absurd, especially since I asked if I could send it in one package and they refused to process it that way. There should be a warning/notice that the return will cost more than the items themselves!! DO NOT order from there if you’re not 10000% sure you’re going to keep everything!!

We ordered 3 pair of the same jean and they all fit drastically different. One was much too long for the inseam ordered, one was much smaller in the waist and thigh and one fit well. This same thing happened with another TWO styles of pants. We also realized that they have stopped using 99% Cotton/1% Spandex for material and have added polyester into the mix for their jeans. We also ordered replacement hoodies and they have greatly reduced the roominess of the sweatshirts - they are now everyday wear narrow in stead of being an outer layer. We have shopped this company for more than 4 years and have seen the quality go down in that time. We really do appreciate the sizing this company offers - just order multiples of one size so at least one will fit well! Update 12/21/24: American Tall has reached out to get more details on merchandise. Last year I gave them private feedback on these same issues, I did a public review this year as they did not seem to take action last year. I will order again, I just hope pointing out these inconsistencies in a public forum will spur them into action.

Honestly the worst experience. The delivery time was the only positive. I received the product in less than a week. I ordered women's tall black leggings. These leggings were the thinnest, cheapest and worst leggings I have ever seen. They were more like cheap tights. I had to pay over 7 in shipping and now 9 to return. I reached out and customer service was horrible. Don't order based on reviews. Do not believe those. I will never order from that company again.

I love the idea of American Tall. Their sizing is very inconsistent. I ordered the wearever fleece open-bottom sweatpant in "tall" which, according to their size charts should fit "up to 36" inseam." I am a 33" inseam and these were just barely long enough and after washing, they are now at least 2" too short!! Very disappointed to have paid $55 each for 2 pair of these and now they are just like any other sweatpants that I have - TOO SHORT!

I spent over two hours shopping on their site so that I could get clothes to fit my 6'5" son's trip to Europe for a music performance. After assembling the clothes in the checkout and commencing that process, I got all through it for the site to say they don't ship to California. I checked their website and it clearly states they ship to all 50 states. This was a frustrating experience, not to mention a waste of time - I encourage others to not bother with this company.
