My experience with American Dream Vacations was AMAZING! They were able to get me into a RV with 1 day notification after having a bad experience with another company. Liz and her boss went above and beyond...

Equipment wasn't working properly when I showed up for pick up. Two choices either you delay your vacation and reschedule or you wait 4 hours, only for them to offer temporary fixes. They seem to think that what equipment you think is broke is not essential equipment in their opinion. Don't choose to pick up right before closing time you will get no help if there is problem. When you're on the road good luck getting any reasonable support. You are pretty much on your own., any repairs you decide to make are out of your pocket unless you get it in writing. Watch out when you return your rental. One of the tactics they use to keep your deposit: The porter will add damage notes after you sign the completed check in form. Just Count on loosing your deposit no matter what. @ American dream vacations, Don't bother to respond with more BS answers, Not interested in dealing with anyone from American Dream Vacations of Houston ever again. I will be advising everyone that asked me about my RV rental to avoid this business.

We are having trouble locating your record or any record for an "Allen" with damage charges out of the Houston location. I would encourage you to contact either the local branch or corporate office to clarify and more importantly look at resolution. All vehicles undergo a multi-point inspection prior to departure to ensure functionality and safety for our valued customers. We do this to ensure positive experiences thereby reducing the likelihood of customer inconvenience. When faced with last minute issues, we will not abandon a customer due to closing but rather offer the options as available. In this purported, yet hypothetical situation, the options would be to remedy the issues at hand, or prepare another vehicle. Both require time, patience and understanding. Neither are favorable but our best interest is getting the customer safely and quickly on the road to a successful experience. All customers participate in a vehicle orientation/demonstration at the time of pickup. Part of this process includes a video damage inspection also including the customers' participation. This same video inspection is completed upon return which alleviates discrepancies. We have no interest in nickle and diming customers for damage but rather protecting the owners of the vehicle while maintaining our rental customer base. The way to do this is to remain fair both before and after the rental. Again, if you have experienced something different, please contact your local branch or the corporate office for clarification and resolution.
