I ordered groceries from Amazon for the first time and had a horrible experience. Half of my order was refunded because it got shipped back to the warehouse for unknown reasons. Then when I did get my groceries they thought it was a good idea to put bread items in bags with hard items instead of just putting all the bread items in one bag together, needless to say all my bread was smashed . So I didn’t get half of the things I ordered and my bread was smashed . Will never use this service again . It’s pointless . First and last time

They can be good when things run smoothly, but if it rains outside, the drivers cancel the order and fresh customer service doesn't want to answer the phone. So you get stuck with the supervisor from the other side who is unable to help properly. If you meal prep and live on a schedule, it will inconvenience you. You literally have to watch the weather before ordering or your screwed.

We order groceries from different companies, and used to order more often from Amazon Fresh or Whole Foods. But now we only order from them if there is something that we can't find anywhere else. More than half of the time, there are items missing from the order and we are still charged for them, then have to request a refund. It seems that whoever packs the order does change it online if an item is missing. So something happens between the store and the delivery location. We even included a note in the delivery instructions for the driver to check that all of the items/bags are delivered and left in the car. On our last order, we checked the security cameras after items were missing from the delivered order, and you could see the delivery driver walking away with one bag! We are in the San Diego, CA area.

Well, aside from there grocery offerings being consistently overpriced and under sized, and their selection shrinking with every new order each month, what has me beefing with Amazon fresh is how their message, which pops up after grocery orders are made but before they're shopping for said order has commenced, stating that we can continue shopping until they start packing our groceries if there's anything we had forgotten, because every time I try to use this feature it just wants to start me up a new cart so they can just tack on the freaking service charges instead of just adding the few items I want to add to my current order.. and even that wouldn't have me running to trustpilot to make a review if it weren't for the fact that Amazon doesn't allow you a place to give your feedback on how this needs to be corrected, and that's the kind of disrespect I just cannot tolerate for all the money that I've spent with Amazon.. so once again, Amazon receives a less than glowing review from me. D- Barely passing . You need to do better Amazon.

I live in SoCal. It's 90 degrees. Every perishabe, refrigerated item was delivered hot. When I travel to New Orleans I order from Whole Foods ( same company) and they put frozen bottles of water in the bags. Why can't Fresh do that? The order was packed 3 hours before delivery and probably sat in hot car trunk. Not good!

Worst quality, stale and rotten fruits were delivered I tried for the first time and i will request others never ever order fruits and vegetables from amazon

So I just started shopping with Amazon fresh . I thought It was really cheap and convenient for groceries . Both times I had a damaged package or missing items. Today I was missing an entire package out of 3 packages and they had the nerve to mark it delivered. Then I had to request refunds for the missing items. There's no way to contact the driver before it's delivered to make sure everything is there . Oh and I forgot to mention that they gave me an item I didn't even order ! 🥴 How annoying. I guess I'll go back to Instacart. At least they communicate with the buyers .

There will never be another time Delivery window seven hours. Since the 90° today, I guess I should’ve stopped on the front porch and get cooked waiting for my order. No they do not call to tell you that your order is left outside under the glaring sun with with meat dairy products, and other perishables. Ordered whole milk got 2% milk. Backward fruit had flies all over them. Everything had to go into trash don’t waste your time telling Amazon even CEO. Do not leave your stuff in the driveway blocking the entrance at your home with heavy items They do not care do not respond and nothing ever changes.
