Awesome delivery, almost always fresh products, but I would avoid purchasing meat and fish from them, otherwise all good

I used to love Amazon Fresh. I love being able to track my groceries and also have free delivery because of my Prime membership. However, over the last 8 months of me using them, it seems they've started to go downhill. Most of the time, I'm sent items nearing the end of their shelf life. There are other times where I'm sent items as a replacement for what they were out of stock of. I would've preferred to be told that it was out of stock as opposed to being sent something that I don't potentially like. Another thing they could work on is the delivery drivers following instructions especially during this pandemic. I make sure to leave clear instructions on where to leave the groceries and I still receive calls of confusion and wanting me to come down to them. I do like how they pack their groceries, though. Perishables are always with other perishables. The packaging always makes sense. However, they don't pack the perishables how they used to. There used to be an ice pack or a frozen water bottle (according to other reviews) packed with your perishables to keep them cool. Now, I've seen different packaging since then. They either: put it in a bag and leave it as is, put it in an insulated bag that resembles an envelope (best one so far), or put it in brown paper bags with some sort of lining that rips apart and sticks to your cold items. If they could fix the previously mentioned issues, they'd get 5 stars for sure.

Almost all products are extremely high price at 50% and more. Better options with are wallmart express delivery same day. Another big issue is that products availability are mixed between other stores of the same conglomerate group of Amazon, so it's hard to get everything you need from Amazon Fresh at the same time. I am reediming a Amazon gift card and when finish I will cancel amazon prime.

During these times it is beautiful that I can get what I need safely delivered to my door. I have been an avid Amazon Fresh customer even before this pandemic, but now I rely on it even more. Since I have a few of those 'underlying health issues', I don't venture out much. They may not have everything for everybody, but I am able to fulfill my daily meal plans. Thanks Amazon. :-)

I have never been so furious in my life. After placing my order days ago... in prep for all the Coronavirus chaos... it was cancelled because my account default to the stupid amazon card I agreed to get that has a cap that if there wasn't a cap I would load with way more than $100. So when I added an item to my order it canceled the entire thing. There is no way too reorder and it doesn't default to my actual credit card. I was passed around for well over an hour... with the same questions and no results. Just to be told they couldn't do anything for me but offered me a discount on items I can't order or reorder. Now everything is out because of the of the CoronaVirus. I will never use Amazon Fresh again. What an awful experience and serious waste of time.
