I really like Allara. They work with my insurance to ensure that I am getting the best deal for my coverage. The doctor and registered dietitian that I meet with are both very caring and listen to my concerns unlike my regular doctors - which is why I turned to Allara in the 1st place.

I attended a QA session before signing up. I was told to use the insurance checker to make sure that Allara accepted my insurance. The person doing the QA also tried to hard sell me on the program by offering me a better and better montlhy subscription price if I signed up that day. Unfortunately, their hard sell tactics worked and I signed up. The insurance checker told me that they take my insurance and I was able to make an appointment. Fast forward a month later. I have seen the doctor who was rushed and spent 6 minutes with me (they advertise 30 minute apppointments). Labs were ordered and I had them done. When I go to have my follow up appointment, I'm told that Allara doesn't take my insurance and they want me to then sign up for the monthly cash price. Also, my labs weren't covered because an out of network doctor ordered them. Guess how much I now owe for the lab bill? Close to $3000.00. So, Allara doesn't know what they're doing and I'm now paying for the cost of their incompetence. I honestly don't know what to say. Everytime I've been to a doctor's office before, they are able to tell me if they accept my insurance. I've never had this happen. My advice to anyone thinking of joining Allara, please don't. The doctor spent 6 minutes with me and ordered some basic labs that any doctor could order and it is now costing me $3000.00. Save your money and go to your in-person physician. They will spend more time with you and it won't cost you $3000. Also, for this being a PCOS platform, they know nothing about PCOS. I was told that it's very normal to skip periods and the only time to be concerned is when I go three months without a period. I told the doctor that my periods are about every 90 days and she told me that this is very normal and not to worry unless I want to get pregnant. I also asked her how insulin plays a role in women with PCOS because I've heard a lot about this lately and she told me that it just does and she doesn't know the exact reason why. I got nothing out of my appointment and just left super confused because my in-person OB told me it's bad to not have a period every month because it can cause some sort of cancer. I am only writing this review to tell other women of my experience with Allara so that hopefully it will help those women who are considering joining.

Since joining Allara Health services, I have had the best experience staying on top of my health. What I like about it is how convenient the teledoc appoints are and how efficient getting the lab work done is. My providers, both the medical doctor and the registered dietitians, have been excellent and are so attentive and compassionate. I am not used to my doctors in the past having very good people skills and Dr, Gibson has been very easy to talk to and so knowledgeable. Claire and Jordan, my dietitians, are always so encouraging and I never feel judged for being a human being. I am constantly telling all my female friends to sign up, because Allara makes learning about your health and how to get on the right path to healing so easy. I finally feel like it’s okay for me to feed my body, give myself the grace to take things slow, and learn how to stay motivated. Thank you all for everything!

Total Scam Spoke with someone directly who promised me a medical provider that could order labs and prescribe me hormone replacement therapy. Convinced me to sign up with a discount code and everything. As soon as I was registered and paid for three months of service they told me there are no medical providers in my state and I can only see a dietitian - something I have no interest in and makes this monthly fee a total rip off. Allara is a complete scam and I would give them zero stars if I could which is a huge bummer because it sounds like an amazing product!

I still have not received one of my supplements

There is not a lot of help for menopause. They suggest supplements. They really shouldn’t advertise menopause as something they treat. Just to put in perspective. I am 47 and have been suffering from a myriad of symptoms. My blood work suggested I was not only menopausal but post-menopausal. I was told my blood work was normal for a woman in my stage of life and got some suggestions for supplements. If you’re looking for help with menopause, post or peri, platforms like Winona and Alloy are better options.

Working with Allara fast-tracked my care and considerations through what would have otherwise been months of navigating my in-person care network and waiting for consultations and first-time appointments (usually months if not years). The care team was so careful to make sure I was listened to, and address any concerns I had. There were multiple times where I felt it was "too good to be true" and never once was scammed or conned into buying things. Based on the work we did, I was able to get an in-person appointment with my network, and having all the paperwork and records from Allara made that process go much faster and I now feel fully taken care of. Women's healthcare has a long way to go in this country but at least Allara was there to support me.

It as been a long time since I felt seen and heard by a medical professional. To often women are dismissed by assembly line medical professionals, that was NOT my experience with Allara. It was a massive relief to have an appointment where I didn't feel like I was walking into battle. 10/10 highly recommends!
