This trip was the best we ever took. Alexander and Roberts were with us the whole way enabling us to make every flight. There were six of us on the whole trip and we got along fantastically.
Thank you.

A positive experience
With very short notice, Alexander & Roberts were able to arrange a 10 day trip including air service, transfers, hotels, private guides who led tours of 4 cities (Lisbon, Jerusalem, Tiberias, & Madrid) that we thoroughly enjoyed. A very positive experience!

China Tour
Our tour guide, Andy, was excellent! I would highly recommend Andy and Alexander and Roberts to anyone who is interested in visiting China. Andy was born in Beijing and spoke perfect English.

Being on a single supplement, hotels, guides, etc.
Being on a single supplement, I appreciated:
1. A greeter at each location..
2. A driver meeting me with a sign with my name.
3. A representative meeting me at the airport to make sure my check in was smooth, my baggage was checked in and that I had the proper visas ready.
Hotels
1. Were extremely nice
2. However, I believe the Taj Dubai Hotel charge was way too expensive. $454 per night. On line the 3 nights could have cost me $691, total, instead of $1362 (not including taxes).
3. The Nile cruise was exceptional! Absolutely outstanding.
4. W Hotel and Marriott were great, as was the Kempinski.
5. Waldorf Astoria was too exclusive, Hilton would have been fine.
Guides
1. Were absolutely outstanding; they were knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Magid in Egypt gets special commendation!
2. There was no guide for the Wadi Rum trip, but thank goodness the driver, Fawaz, was so great and I invited him to go with me in the 4 x 4 truck; otherwise I would have been by myself.
3. Fawaz, the driver in Jordan was incredible; I was with him for 4 days and he was more than a driver, he was my guide.
4. Muhammed in Jeresh and Ms. Hend in Dubai were great!
Tour
1. In Petra I struggled to complete the 3 mile walking trip, at night on a difficult path and then a full day at Petra the next day. Thank goodness, my driver, Fawaz, suggested I take a horse and carriage AND a donkey to the end of the Petra Valley the full day.
2. In Wadi Rum, the lunch with the Beduian family was so worthwhile.
3. The cooking class at the Petra Kitchen was a great experience!

Dear Ms. Abbott,
Thank you very much for taking the time to write such a thorough review of your travel to the Middle East with us. Our people on the ground offer pretty extraordinary personal service and I'm glad that this was all available to you. My only regret is that our extra night hotel rates don't always compare well with on-line promotional rates. To secure advance access to accommodations, we can't always take advantage of such 'deals.' However, we are sending a check to your Travel Advisor, Ms. Anna Aquino, in Rancho Palos Verdes in the amount of $250 in recognition of the discrepancy you point out.
We really appreciate your traveling with us!

Fantastic trip
The main goal of this trip was to visit Iguazzu Falls, but it turned out to be so much more!! We were not originally expecting much out of Buenos Aires, but thanks to our wonderful guide, Nicolas, we ended up absolutely loving it! (Our driver, Jorge, was a very careful and safe driver as well as being very sweet!) What a marvelous, fascinating city. Nicolas made it come alive for us. The Evita Museum and the Tango dinner and show at La Ventana were definite highlights. Our hotel, the Alvear Palace was the perfect place to stay. Excellent breakfast and we were within walking distance of the area of the Obelisk.
Iguazzu Falls was magnificent and everything we expected and more. Our guide, Roxanna, was very knowledgeable and funny! The Belmond Das Cataratas Hotel was exquisite and it was great that it was inside the park. Our breakfasts here were delicious! Some of the Falls were right across from the hotel and because we stayed inside the park we were able to walk to the Devil's Throat overlook 3 times. This was wonderful because every visit it was different and one time we were the only people there! On our second day, Roxanna, took us back into Argentina to visit the brink of the Devil's Throat-a once in a lifetime experience! We also hiked along the upper trail to visit many of the other waterfalls. Awesome!!
Our visit to Rio was delightful due to our fantastic guide, Camila. Highlights were the visit to the Christ the Redeemer Statue and the trip up Sugar Loaf as well as the visit to the fascinating Metropolitan Cathedral which is truly like no other! Camila really went the extra mile to make our visit special! Our hotel, the Belmond Copacabana Beach was excellent and we had a wonderful view of the beach right across the street. Breakfasts there were also delicious!
This entire trip was perfect-mostly because of the excellent guides provided by Alexander and Roberts! They were all extremely knowledgeable and their English was great! They were so friendly and easy to relate to! We highly recommend this trip!

I travelled to Greece for the first…
I travelled to Greece for the first time with Alexander and Roberts! It was an outstanding and unique experience! The small group of travelers made it easy to make new friends and share exciting adventures.
Our tour guide, Panagiota Pantou, a doctor of archeology was amazing. Her knowledge of Greek mythology and archeological ruins heightened the excitement of touring Athens, the Acropolis, the Parthenon ,Delphi, Volos, Skopelos, Skiathos, and other unique Greek mountain villages.
The 4 and 5 star hotels we stayed in were luxurious. The Greek people are friendly, personable, and generous!
I definitely will travel with Alexander and Roberts in the future!

Fantastic guide
Fantastic guide, Chanchal Srivastava, made this trip excellent. A gifted storyteller, he shared his extensive knowledge of the history and architecture of the sites we visited through stories. During travel time in the van, he shared more stories and insight into the culture, including personal anecdotes as illustration. He treated us as guests rather than tourists.
The itinerary itself was everything I'd hoped and more - we experienced the lushness of five-star hotels and also went into the Spice Market in pedicabs and on foot and also had dinner in a middle-class home; saw the Taj Mahal and other historical landmarks and rode through jungle in jeeps.
Our group was particularly lucky in a close encounter with Noor, a tiger who marched between our jeeps with distain for us all.
