This was our 4th trip with Alexander and Roberts. This time we were on the Japan’s Inland Sea to the Alps. AR takes great care of their customers. The hotel accommodation were 5 star as well as our very knowledgeable guide. Highlights of this itinerary include the Kyoto hotel (Granvia) and its location over the JR railways, the scenic bullet trains rides, visiting Hiroshima, up close interactions with geisha ladies, quaint heritage town visit showing the farm hand roofs, festival floats from Takayama, etc. The meal choices were also delicious including local japanese meals, buffets and sushi making activity. These were all wonderful memories of Japan and we hope to return in the near future thanks to a wonderful itinerary by A/R.

Excellent service, awesome guides. Could have had better guidance when it came to what to pack. We brought twice as much as needed. I’ll repeat, awesome guides!

Best tour ever! We have enjoyed 5 or 6 tours with Alexander and Roberts and the Kenya-Tanzania Safari trip was the best yet. We had a small group, only 3 couples so we were able to move easily and quickly because of our size. Plenty of room to spread out in the safari vehicles! Our guides were all very knowledgeable, easy to understand and gave us so much information that made for an excellent learning experience. The accommodations were as expected and considering the remote locations of most, very comfortable and suited our needs perfectly. Meals were plentiful and varied. This trip is very, very physical and the roads are rough and slow going. The dust, flies and heat should be considered but all of the hardship of " getting there" quickly falls by the wayside when you have your first animal encounter. A mama cheetah with 6 three week old offspring, a male lion that walked right up to our truck and "marked" us as being in his territory, a female lion carrying a tiny cub in her mouth across an open field, a leopard high in a tree enjoying his kill and hundreds and hundreds of Wildebeest forging the river were all special and memorable highlights of our days. We kept saying it couldn't possibly get better but yet each day managed to top the previous day.You should not miss this experience. It truly was magical and unforgettable!

The services were exceptionally good, although i wish the company would include all gratuities to tour guides, local guides and drivers on all tours and excursion.

Our recent Holy Land small group tour gave us a wholistic, broad view of the Holy Land and Israel. Our guide, Michael W. was knowledgeable, friendly with the local people, sensitive to our needs & had a great sense of humor. As always Alexander Roberts provided great service, hotels & food.
