it was overall great. The only trouble we had was on the audio if you wanted to stop a moment or wait for somebody to catch up to you,there was no way to pick up where you left off ….you had to start over from the beginning so you end up missing some of it there were no directions and no one to ask until the end. The information was great and accurate. WhenPark Ranger was making her announcements. could have addressed all the flies that were on everyone:that they were not stinging flies just irritating. could’ve been a few more bathrooms, But I love that the place was in It’s original worn down condition.!! appreciated the tram uphill because I am handicapped

Our experience was mostly great. The staff was very helpful when we arrived 5 minutes late due to very heavy traffic. My biggest complaint was, that they completely ran out of sandwiches. That left us with no food for the whole afternoon. The rest of the trip was pretty great. We learned a lot of history and how everyone lived on the island. The weather was great too!

I was informed of every aspect of the tour. I enjoyed seeing this National Treasure.

Our group didn't feel that the high price matched the quality we received; though there were mishaps that seemed out of anyone's control and we appreciate that. The communication during boat troubles was very poor. I asked an employee when boarding the replacement boat if the tour would be the same and they said yes...and as the boat left the dock they informed us that there would be no audio tour available. The island itself was incredible and the skyline view at night is exceptional. But due to the boat problems, we only had about an hour to explore so we felt very rushed. The guides in the main building were great but were few and far between, and without the audio tour, we felt lost. If communication about the situation had been clearer, we would have tried to reschedule for a different night, so it was a bit of a bummer in the end.

I learned a lot on the tour. I just wish some of the other guests weren’t so rude. Many times I was waiting in a line only to be “shouldered” out. After the 3rd time this happened, I gave up. I stopped even trying to look at close up exhibits. Not sure what could be done on your part to fix that, but it did put a sour note on my experience.
