Do not use this service. they charge $26/mo just to be able to use your home automation. This is free with a good t'stat and you can easily purchase and setup z-wave devices controlled via internet. The charge for security monitoring is and additional $5.00/month. This is a real ripoff.

I work for an installer, and the service is not great. The only part of the service that works with any degree of reliability is remote arm/disarm and notifications of such. Video, including the doorbell is just the worst. We stopped selling the cameras entirely due to infant mortality, constant disconnects, poor video quality and the sudden discontinuation of products like the SVR-122. The thermostats, particularly the T3000 are just glorified e-waste. The terminals are fragile and fussy, and they are consistently unreliable. Rules for Z-Wave devices don't work more often than they do, and LiftMaster services are down anytime someone actually needs to let someone in. The access control system is just a web-based IEI/Continental system, it's old hat. The System Enhancement Modules are a gargantuan pain in our collective rear end. CONSTANT failure to communicate notices despite good cell signals, locking up and taking the keybus offline, and Z-Wave board failures galore. If all you want to do is arm/disarm remotely it's good, but everything else is so badly implemented I wish they never did.

The system is crap, doorbell hasn't worked from the get go, They damaged my Garage door with the install of the driveway camera. The system runs on wifi, so if wifi is down or your power is out you have no alarm. Support is poor to non existent. This is by far the worst excuse I have ever seen for a security system. On the rare occasions that the Door Bell Alarm actully works, you might get a alert three hours after the Door bell was pushed.

We purchased this system in July 2019 and signed a 3 year contract, and it has performed decent over the years. It gets disconnected from time to time but that is acceptable, technology is not perfect. I am in the military and the sales person assured me if I were to relocate to a different state I can terminate my service with my military orders, that was a big lie. I have been out of that house for 7 months now and for 7 months I have tried to cancel my service with them. I have sent them my orders and all other required information multiple time to no avail. This is by far the worst security company I have ever had. I would stay far away from this company if I were you.

Hello Everyone, My wife and I purchased two T3000 thermostats approximately one year ago via Amazon. One of the T3000 thermostats stop working almost one month ago, and the other one stopped working last night. We called the seller, and the seller told us that their warranty had expired but that we could call alarm.com and file a claim under the manufactuer's warranty. I've called alarm.com several times to no avail. No one at alarm.com has been even able to tell me what kind of manufacturer's warranty is offered on the product. alarm.com's customer service is unquestionably bad. How is it that no one at the company knows anything at all about the warranty on the very products that the company manufactures?! It's simply unreal. The alarm.com representative searched for warranty information and told me to call Brinks (the servicer). I called Brinks, and the Brinks representative put me on hold while she called alarm.com. The Brinks representative said that the alarm.com representative said that he cannot speak with her because she is not the customer. So, we're caught in the middle of this incredible nightmare, having bought two obviously faulty thermostats, without the manufactuer taking any responsibility. We plan to continue to pursue this, and we will keep everyone posted. I suspect that, at most, we'll receive a boilerplate response from the company on this platform. But again, we do not plan to "let this go" and will continue to pursue it.

Alarm.com and vendors never tell you if you stop monthly expensive subscription your cameras are useless. WOW Alarm.com are crooks. Thousands of dollars and we are left with useless cameras. Dishonest company and dishonest vendors. Stay away from alarm.com!

We had a RING doorbell camera for years before I thought I would “upgrade” to an actual security system. Don’t even waste your time with this system. Ring outperforms our current doorbell cam that I am paying way more for. I have our camera on the highest sensitivity & it doesn’t even notify me when people are AT MY DOOR, let alone on my porch dropping off packages. The camera is always disconnected from WiFi & you need to troubleshoot it to reconnect it. Our rep was nice but obviously once he got his deal I can’t get ahold of him & if I do he doesn’t follow through. His whole pitch was “we just want to get our sign in your front yard & replace the old security sign” but I have yet to even receive the new sign.

This company is awful i felt safer with my Ring doorbell the doorbell never works by the time it is able to pull up the person is gone. The people who installed our door sensors did a horrible job the sensor fell off 2 days later. I called to complain and the rep hung up in my face. I’ve been so frustrated it has caused me to cry honestly biggest mistake.
