I live with my elderly parents ( 88 and 86 ) and need the monitoring system for security and safety purposes, especially since I work outside the home 5 days a week.Both my parents are actively using their phones to view activities on our security cameras. Sadly, my father's phone had to be replaced and I was having difficulty downloading the app Thankfully, Andi S. From their Belleville location, patiently took the time to walk my father through the steps necessary to get him up and running. She did this in person too! Thank you Andi for your great customer service, as always.

I called last evening to reset my password. However, this morning I can’t access my account from my iPhone

I’ve read four of the poorly rated reviews and it sounds like the majority of people are upset with a company that installed it and the customer service they provide. alarm.com sells the equipment to the company that installs it they’re not responsible for the installation. I find as a tech they provided great support for their products and often (not always) the issue is due to improper installation not faulty equipment. I will agree the doorbell has some issues.

We have loved alarm.com. They have been honest, responsive and reasonable. Always able to get a hold of someone, good product and the maintenance plan has been amazing, with the old system we’d inherited when we bought. They’ve simply helped us replace as sensors go out, no fuss and no muss.

I agree with one of the posts - many complaints appear to be from poor installations or installation companies. We have had almost no issues with ADC and the tech support has been nothing but 5 stars. The only reason I have 4 stars is because of a few issues that also might even be out of ADC's control (cellular or internet carrier). - People with poor video reviews are usually are from poor WiFi signals or not enough upload speed. One advantage we have is that we do all types of Low Voltage work so we are familiar how to correct many issues and to be fair a standard alarm company may not be trained to do so. There are a lot of detailed settings within the devices that has taken us over 2 years to discover and we still find more each time we call in for tech support. There are so many more positives to mention here, but you will never be able experience them all if the alarm company representing ADC is not doing their job correctly. We have been in the industry nearly 20 years and we have seen it all...

I am an Alarm.com Certified Technician, when I call for help, their Technicians are very professional, knowledgeable, patient, understanding and polite. By FAR the best Support Service in the business. The only complaint is the wait on line, otherwise 5 STARS

I have a teenager and a school-age kid at home, I feel much more comfortable leaving the oldest home to babysit because of this service's great features, I get a video clip and a picture when they get home from school. I can even stream live video anywhere to make sure they're being nice to each other. I also get arming reminders when I've left for work. I'm hooking up the garage feature this weekend. Excited to have this in time for summer when the kids are in and out of the garage with bikes, scooters, and sprinklers. It's the worst feeling to go to leave for work in the morning and realize the garage has been open all night, can't wait to have another check to make sure it doesn't happen!
