DO NOT ORDER from this company. Ordered a new Summit fridge, the motor broke after 12 days of normal use. They obviously sell sub-par broken garbage at AJ Madison for high prices and do not take it back after 24 hours. BEWARE - STAY AWAY!

False Advertising of Expected Delivery…
False Advertising of Expected Delivery Date. They sent me the Actual Delivery Date on the day it was supposed to be delivered and then charged a 35% Restock Fee if I don’t go along with it.
Purchased from AJ Madison because they had the fastest delivery time, and I was coordinating installers for repairing my house damaged from the Hurricane.
June 7th: Used AJ Madison’s delivering tool FOR my zip code and it gave me a June 16th delivery date with a ship date in within 2 days.

Bought a dishwasher through the online…
Bought a dishwasher through the online service. I bought the dishwasher on June 25. I needed it quickly and my salesperson told me that I would have it in a week. Never happened!!! The dishwasher finally arrived yesterday July 30th. It was installed by the delivery company at 9:30 at night. And I had to pay extra for the service. So my $500 dishwasher cost me over $1000!!! Run from these guys and don’t believe anything they say!!!!!

Awful company PREDATORY PRACTICES!
Awful company. I was told I was being given a full refund. Then I was not. 25% restocking fee.
Even after their employee stated I would get a refund. They pulled the phone recording and heard the refund promised then stated the operator didn’t have the authority to do that!
What?????
Total scammers on what they do.
HEARTLESS AND MONEY HUNGRY IS WHO THEY ARE!
Do not order from them!
Run!!!!!!!
I made the mistake of not reading reviews before I ordered!
You’ve been warned!!!!!!
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!

RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!
RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!! Do not slow down. I wouldn't order from this company if it was the last company on earth selling a product. I would find a different product. Their customer service is the absolute WORST I've ever experienced. Too bad there isn't such thing as a "zero" star rating. Also, be sure to look at other sites with reviews on this company. That is a lesson I learned too late. Google Reviews' 3.4 rating is SUPER generous. Trust Pilot and Consumer Affairs have ratings in the 1.1 to 1.6 range with a WHOLE lot more reviews than you see here. I wish I would have thought to look there before buying from this company. Their communication is terrible. They are RUDE and hang up on you and don't even try to work with you to resolve an issue. I ordered a range/oven. Following the order confirmation, I received an email saying the item would be shipped on Friday. Prior to that, I called because I actually needed to cancel my order because we ran into issues with other factors in our kitchen remodel. I figured if it hadn't shipped, then I should be able to cancel the order without any problem or restocking services/fees; however, when I called to ask them if I could cancel, they informed me that the item had already shipped so there would be a restocking fee. When I questioned the shipping date because they told me it was shipping later that week, the person hung up on me. When I got back on the line with them and spoke with Victor, he told me to send him the email that said the item was shipping on Friday and he would call me back. He never did. Instead I got an email from someone else explaining their return/cancelation policy and the restocking fee. The email also asked me to confirm that I was canceling within 48 hours so they could notify the shipping company. At that point, I just decided to take delivery of the range/oven and we would work out those other issues somehow. I did not call them back within 48 hours because they said it was already shipped and if I simply planned to accept the original shipment, what is there to notify the shipping company about? The shipping company (if never notified about anything) would simply ship and delivery as originally intended scheduled and would never know any different. Instead, the next thing I know there is a partial refund on my card and they went ahead on their own decision (NOT mine) to cancel the order and and only refund me my cost minus their restocking fee. Attempts to work it out with the company were met with them rudely hanging up on the phone and when I called back they simply did not answer the phone. I tried working it out through Visa, but Visa wouldn't take up the case because they said there was no way to prove what was said and who made decisions, etc. So, I guess I'm just ass out the money. There is no doubt in my mind that the "fact" that the item shipped two days early was complete BS and was just an excuse to be able to charge an exorbitant restocking fee without ever having to provide a good or service. Windfall for them. Do not even think about ordering from this company if friendliness, customer service, rapport and being able to work through issues is even the least bit important to you.

Ordered a standard Bosch 300 dishwasher…
Ordered a standard Bosch 300 dishwasher from sales person in their Brooklyn showroom. On the first delivery date, the delivery never showed. Waited all day.
I had to call customer service to reschedule. On the second delivery date a few weeks later, the delivery came and the unit was broken. I had to talk to customer service to verify that I didn't want to accept the delivery.
After these two missteps, I called the salesperson (Josh M) who knocked installation and delivery off the unit. He didn't tell me that the unit was backordered.
When I found out after digging, I cancelled the order and went with the PC Richard & Son. I had the unit installed within 5 days with seamless service.
We always got our appliances from AJ Madison but will never use them again.

TERRIBLE customer service
Initially I wasnt going to write a review, however trying to discuss my concerns with a supervisor named Ashley in customer service and being argued down, I decided to do it. Ironically the service up through the actual purchase was good. However, it all went downhill from there. Commumication regarding delivery is sketchy at best. After waiting several weeks for thousands of dollars' worth of appliances, i finally was notified that the delivery would be made within a few days. Honestly it took forever for the items to be delivered to the delivery company and then set up to be delivered to me, it is a very choppy process. On the day of delivery, i received a 12-minute heads up. Yep, l said 12 minutes. Nevertheless, the 2 individuals arrived in an unmarked truck, with no uniforms, no paperwork-nothing that appeared professional. Despite unboxing the appliances in the driveway, they still used a handtruck to bring them into my home instead of carrying them, banging up my door and threshold. At the end of the install, there were many components left unused on my countertop, and the door to the oven doesn't seem to close all the way-not sure if that is a store issue or an installation issue. I made one call to voice my concerns about the parts on the counter and the oven door and customer service was not very helpful, but she did set up to have someone come out to check the installation and make sure it was ok. Then I went out to close the garage door and discovered that they put the old appliances, literally, in the middle of the garage and left the boxes and packaging including flying styrofoam all over the driveway. So I placed another call to customer service to ask why they had not at least taken away the large boxes and packaging materials. I was told this cost extra. I went back to the website and went through the buying process trying to see where the information was given before I paid. When I didn't see it, I was guided to a small obscure window on one page that mentioned it. I ceded that I didn't read every line like I should have. But I did suggest that they consider making it plainer to customers what they should expect BEFORE they give up their money. I was told it was plain and i must've "assumed" that the packing materials would be taken away. I did respond back that they should take away the need for any assumptions and when she went to respond back with a smart comment, i realized this was an argument. Why not just say we will note that for the higher ups to consider or something similar? Premiere store?? I think not, i mean, what premiere store do you know of who hires random companies that don't even pick up their trash when they leave? Even my 4-year-old does that. And please do not send me that cookie cutter response that you have sent all the other negative reviewers about valuing exceptional customer service and wanting to communicate about the experience. I already was dismissed by your customer service department once, you wont get a second crack at me. I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN. AND I WILL ENSURE MY FRIENDS, FAMILY AND ANYONE IN MY SPHERE DONT EITHER.
