The last two appointments ran smoothly & professionally and the video appointments were always on time. Zohra was very helpful & friendly at Harrow Health.

Awful Patient Care at Harrow Health
Very disappointed with Harrow Health’s customer service and medication continuity.
I have been prescribed Concerta XL, with 36mg being the dose agreed at my last clinical review. I subsequently received 54mg in error, which I still had left over. After running out of my 36mg supply, I used the remaining 54mg and have now completely run out.
I submitted a medication request at the start of the week, and was meant to be contacted within three days, but I had to call them to chase up.
After being on hold for half an hour, I explained that I had completely run out of my prescription and had been struggling to function. I was unable to get out of bed for three days due to weakness, fatigue and low mood, and was due to travel abroad for 2 weeks in a few days time. I asked for the matter to be escalated to a manager or senior member of staff.
I called again on 27 August and made the same request. I was not offered contact with a clinician or senior member of staff. Instead, I received a text saying they could not see me before 15 September.
I understand that appointments can be limited, but I find it very concerning that after reporting that I had completely run out of medication and was struggling significantly, the response was simply to wait nearly three weeks for an appointment.
I also feel that the process for ongoing prescriptions and follow-up appointments has not been explained clearly. My last appointment in April was around 45 minutes late, and I have previously had to chase Harrow Health for prescriptions rather than having a clear process for maintaining continuity of treatment.
I am now going abroad for two weeks without my medication, despite repeatedly contacting Harrow Health and asking for the situation to be escalated.
This has been an extremely disappointing experience, particularly when I would expect a healthcare provider to respond appropriately when a patient reports being without prescribed medication and experiencing a significant deterioration in their ability to function.

Honestly the worst clinic
Honestly the worst clinic! The admin team are so unhelpful and rude. I have needed a response from a a doctor to allow me to restart medication and it’s been close to 6 months and I asked if they could try and contact them again and they go we can only email, not call so you will have to contact them - which I have obviously tried many times. They just go well there’s nothing else they can do. Worst thing is they made my GP stop being able to prescribe so I have been without medication for 6 months and no one seems to care!

Poor
The clinicians are unprofessional (apart from a few). The customer service is shocking, the admin side of the process is disappointing- you spend hours trying to get through on the phone, their email inbox is also always full so you are unable to reach them through email. Prescriptions are texted to your mobile but 9/10 times are incorrect so you spent a day getting in touch to tell them it’s incorrect as you can’t text back to the number. My experience over the last two years has been poor. Choose another right 2 choose provider.

I was told my initial video call would…
I was told my initial video call would be up to 2 hours but it was about 40 / 45 minutes and felt extremely rushed to the point I don’t think I’ve been diagnosed correctly my report which I was told would be with me in a couple of days took more like 10 days and had 5 incorrect statements in it making me feel like I wasn’t even listened to on top of been rushed! It was 3rd July when I received my report so straight away I submitted an on line complaint which I heard nothing from after about a month I rang and was told the department I’d got through to couldn’t help but was given the email address to forward my complaint onto which I did on the 7th August and 5 days later have still not heard anything back! An absolutely appalling service all round sadly

Harrow health is absolutely shocking!
Harrow health are an absolutely shocking service. You can’t get hold of anyone when you call and if you manage to get through your on hold for over 30 minutes if not longer! You fill out their contact form and no one contact you.
Their service has to be one of the worst services I’ve been with!!
Been trying to sort out medication for over 3 weeks and when you phone to say you’ve run out and ask what your meant to do, all you get told is “your just have to wait”.

Zero communication, unprofessional, negligent
The only positive part of this whole experience was my titration appointments with Julie, who was warm and kind and made me feel supported.
Literally every other part of my experience with Harrow Health has been shocking. My assessor started the appointment by demanding to know “if I am female”, seemed in a rush to get through the appointment, checking boxes rather than listening to what I said. Same for another clinician I saw for my final titration appointment.
The communication is HORRIBLE. They do not answer the phone with a hold time of less than 30 minutes, and twice I have simply been disconnected after waiting for the better part of an hour. I was supposedly discharged a few weeks ago but they never sent the documents relating to duty of care to me or my GP, so they cannot prescribe me my medication. I waited 30 mins on hold to tell them this, and they sent me the wrong document, belonging to another patient. In a MASSIVE GDPR breach, I now have access to a stranger’s medical information.
I feel like I have been held hostage by this horrible, incompetent service and I cannot fathom how this is allowed to continue like this. This is a vulnerable patient population and the way I and others are being treated is appalling.
There is no way to contact the service directly, only the poor people they put on the front lines to handle overflow calls, who have no access to any information and at best can pass a message across. If this message is misinterpreted, you have to spend another 30 minutes on the phone and hope for the best. They do not have an email address advertised, and they do not respond to the contact form.
This is just completely and utterly unacceptable.

Shite service
Shite service, I am beyond fed up with them. I have been accidentally dismissed, told incorrect information, and generally messed around by the sheer lack of organisation. Your initial diagnosis will come quickly but treatment? Good luck (!)
