We have been doing business with Hanna Paint and Hardware in Oakland Park for 30 years. We have a great relationship with them and have always had the best customer service. We will continue give them our business as long as they are around.

Today I paid $24 a 10 inch flexible gas pipe. Jessie used a gun. This was at the gateway Ace hardware on telephone road near airport.

Work for Ace Hardware for over 1 year in Fl. and when I was injured at work then was found to have cancer. Went to HR to ask for help and found out she was the owners wife,( No Help from here) in fact I got a call from the owner and was surprised when he said he does not not talk to lower class employees and do not call HR / his wife and they found a loop hole to fire me. I enjoyed working for ACE and know that customer service is the number on reason why people come back . I have helped a lot of customer over my time and proud of that. I am a shamed of this ACE Management . (D G)

Receive discount/savings offers regularly but the promotion code never works for the items I am trying to order. I have read the exclusions in the fine print and the items I want are not listed. Talked with service reps but I never get a straight answer, only that other items may not apply. What a waste of my time. I want to try and support smaller franchises rather than the big box stores but with Ace, this is not possible and I am at the point where I will not even bother looking at their merchandise.

Horrible customer service . They hire bunch of young people who obviously have no idea how to handle customers

For as long as I can remember, anytime that I needed something from the hardware store, I always went to ACE instead of Lowes or Home Depot FIRST. Not anymore! In fact, I will never spend another penny at ACE. Today, I was very disappointed when I went to return a few items, to be told that "THEY DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS FOR ITEMS BOUGHT PRIOR TO A HURRICANE OR TROPICAL STORM" In other words, they have no problem robbing you blind (price gouging) by charging $60.00 for a 50' extension cord, but if you want to return it - FORGET IT. After today, I would encourage anyone in need of ANY hardware item to quickly cross ACE off of your list. Go to Lowes or HD instead - they will serve you graciously, and if you need to return something - NO PROBLEM! How dare ACE take advantage of people in preparation for a hurricane! I hope they go out of business QUICK! They deserve it!

Had poor experience ordering online at Ace Hardware. Ordered parts online to be picked up in store in Firestone CO. Online order said would be available same day, so ordered, paid w CC and thought all was good. Went into the store next day to pick up and they had no record of the order, so ended up buying the parts again and paying again at the store. Even though i showed the folks the email and receipt from my online order - they still insisted there was no order and that i had to pay again to get the parts. Contacted Customer Service and they said just go back to the store. Still have not been able to get a refund from either the online order or the in store purchase - stuck paying twice for same parts.

I recently sent my husband to pick up paint for our deck. Long story short. He got the color completely wrong. Took the paint to store #15318 in Hendersonville NC. I was so impressed with David Richards patience & effort to help me. We got very close to THE color. Thanks to your great staff, your store has brand new & loyal customers in our family! Best regards, Mrs. H. Singleton
