Wish I could give it 0. Was told I’d have something delivered last week, then they told me this week. Called again today and it’s all for the sudden “out of stock” and will be in soon. They sure were quick to get their money out of my account though. Will never shop there again…

i ordered same item 3 times only to find one day before pickup item is cancelled due to inavailability, takes 17 days to get credit back on card, poor online cust svc, will not buy ace hardware online again

This on-line company is a scammer! They use a bait and switch approach. I ordered an expensive producct, Endless Summer Fire Table, and they switched it out. The on line store tried to convience me it was the same product repeatedly, even after supplying evidence supporing they were completely different, multiple times. They were refusing a return pick up even after I proved they were at fault. I had to threaten with action before they would even try to reason. At several times I told the reps before the conversation started, I was recording their call for my own protection, What an awful experience. Dealing with crooks often is a horrible experience!

I have discovered a hidden plant-lovers oasis in my community—Ace Hardware. I just got through purchasing a huge, healthy Calathea tropical houseplant for $19 from Ace which is half the price it would sell for at a well-known online nursery in Oregon. I was able to select an organic bag of soil, and an exquisitely modern ceramic pot for it. Again, my total cost was well under what it would have been online. Everything I needed for my orchids was also at Ace. I like the travel convenience of Ace, and the fact that they try to get in the healthiest outdoor plants as well. I do wish they would get stock in quicker than they do as in potting soil, but that really is corporate dropping the ball, not my town Ace Hardware staff.

I don't know why I keep trying to shop there as my experiences every time match the horrible service my relatives tell me they used to get when they tried shopping there. I go to the nuts and bolts section in the back right of the store. Ron L. is helping others so I wait my turn. They walk past me and Ron L. is asking if there is anything else he can help them with but they don't need anything else. I assume he will come ask how he can help me but he doesn't. He asks a customer that just arrived how he can help him. Ron L. winds up helping 3 more customers while Angie and Norm each help customers that arrived long after I did but no one has bothered to ask me how they can help me. It isn't until I ask Angie for a manager that anyone seems interested in how they can be of service. Angie offers to get me the managers information as not in store today. While she's doing so another individual asks how things are going. I say if asking how customer service is, it is horrible. I guess he's the assistant manager so I wonder why Angie didn't offer to get him when I asked for a manager. He is pleasant and gives me a business card for the actual store manager.

I purchase 4 bags of black gold organic soil. They were all moulded and have pest all over them. They were leaking, I had to get my car detailed. I own a business I sell plants. Is the pests infested and now my business is totally stagnant for at the very least 30 days. I was offered a full refund over the phone and replacement of products. I got a $25 refund a few days later. I called corporate office back sent timestamped pictures of opening the soil of it sitting in clear totes videos of bugs flying around in it, Mould growing in it, Powder mildew all over. Customer care is sleazy and one rap will tell you what you want to hear while another calls back and acts dumb, Even though it's all documented. I will never be shopping here again it is already way too expensive but the disgusting lack of integrity and the totally fraudulent slogan behind the Ace Hardware corporation, Makes me truly sick to my stomach. Save yourself some money, Pricing on almost everything is hugely escalated, And save yourself a bit of trouble because if anything ever happens or you need to do a basic return even, you will be treated like a shop lifter with receipt in hand, you will be consistently lied to by the customer care team because the business is bleeding so badly that a $50 order is worth losing a long time customer with a business account. Good riddance Ace Hardware. Big business stealing from small business. Watch your back at ace. They definitely don't have it.

Package was lost by FedEx. I understand that what I don't understand is instantly rebooking a order. Never again.

Disappointed that ACE Hardware in Margate Fl does not Honor Military ID or AARP. What happen to respect?
