I use to get my specialty scripts from express scripts and Tricare has decided as of March 1, 2024 that Accredo is to now handle my specialty prescription's. Problem: I have spent almost every single day since March 1st on the phone with Accredo trying to get my Cosentyx Injections refilled BEFORE my next injections. I spoke to multiple managers, pharmacist and an extreme amount of customer service reps and still get NO HELP or SOLUTIONS. Im stressed because I need these injections and they just don’t care. The managers Ive spoken to have placed my prescription on “expedite” and this doesn’t even move my prescription out of “Pharmacist Verification” and I was actually told that I needed new prescription and authorization 27 days after my March1st call … Why? I actually had my JHU pharmacy verify this and they said this is absolutely untrue my prescriptions are listed as no prior authorization required (Tricare verified) JHU Pharmacist did a 3 way call with Me and Accredo and the JHU Pharmacist said to the Accredo Rep her prescription is covered you verified that yourself and the rep said we need on our end to do submit another form to fill the prescription, what form asked the JHU Pharmacist she couldn’t answer she was pretty agitated by his questioning her finally he said to her your process for filling prescriptions is very complicated more then it needs to be her prescriptions are covered you just need to fill them and we ended the call (useless to say anything more to her)… The JHU Pharmacist had scheduled me to come to JHU to pick up a sample injection so I don’t miss my dose coming up (its a 2.5 hour drive). He said you know your not going to get your injections from them anytime soon… makes me so mad that everything is so damn complicated. CALL TRICARE and file your official complaint against Accredo “don’t call Express Script”. P.S….They don’t ship or process orders on Sat or Sun…actually they don’t ship Mon- Sunday… let’s be real!

My son's prescription has taken over two weeks and is still not processed. When it was first sent in I was told 5-8 business days since this is the first time we have used the pharmacy. The website says 5-7 calendar days. It has been in status of Pharmacy review for more than 10 days. The doctor spoke with the pharmacist 2 days ago and was assured the prescription would ship yesterday at the latest. Still says they need information from the doctor on the website. Called in yesterday (always get a different answer when I call) and explained how frustrated I am and was told my case was being expedited (same thing as last Friday) and that a case manager would contact me within 24 hours. Well it has been 24 hours and I am on hold waiting to speak with a case manager. My son's prescription has not changed status and it has not shipped. I cannot use another specialty pharmacy because this is the pharmacy my insurance contracts with. I was so excited to finally be moving forward in this process as it took more than 9 months for the insurance to approve this medication and now we are waiting again.

We seriously need the ability to give like .25 stars. I’ve had to deal with this company for many years and this latest debacle is just ridiculous. I’ve been calling an entire month, made probably 15 calls in total to: a chain pharmacy then ExpressScripts then Accredo. About 5 calls were to accredo. A week ago they were going to “expedite” the order and as of today I still have to wait “about 2 days” for them to call and arrange shipping. if this is expedited, I’d hate to see what regular is. My last dose is tomorrow. It’s a good thing it’s not a medication for a serious illness. Avoid dealing with this company if you possibly can. I feel bad for the people that answer the phones. I don’t know so much that it’s their fault. I think maybe it’s more the organizations’ fault than the folks that answer the phones. Over the past years, there have been numerous times when I have called, I’ve heard a different process from each person each time I call. “Sigh”

** ZERO STARS **. I don’t know how Accredo is still in business. I have given them the required insurance Information several times but the information never gets saved in their system. Consequently, the prescription is denied!! After reading numerous reviews, this is a reoccurring problem. Lives are at risk due to Accredo’s failing business processes!!

I'm on par with the rest of the group here... I don't know who is more incompetent them or the Authorization team at my doctors office... I have spent about 15 to 20 hours on the phone with these morons.. and if they ask me one more time if I would like to talk to their pharmacist about my missed Dose of Botox for Migraine... I will explode... they have no idea what these drugs are for, the brand vs the generic names... etc... if I could give no stars I would.... this company is horrible.... terrible and really should be reported for pretty much holding your necessary medications hostage... especially when your insurance company says they are covered... and verification takes 3 minutes!!!!!! I really think a class action lawsuit needs to be filed against this company for delaying medical care via necessary treatment that we need... which for some of us these meds are detrimental to preserving our health...

The last year and a half of dealing with Accredo and Express Scripts has been pure hell! They are unprofessional and you have to start two weeks in advance of your refill to make sure that you get your medication. I never get a bill but they say that I have past due amounts that must be paid before I can get my refills that they hold hostage. Today I had to call six phone numbers before getting to anyone who could refill my Botox for migraine. The number I have called for a year and a half (844-412-4764) that the doctor gave me said that there were longer than normal wait times and then there was a recording with a new number (800-332-5455) and abruptly hung up. So I called the new number. It is a directory to the whole company and I had to choose from the directory who to call. Then I called pharmacy help (800-235-4357) where a ridiculous robot held my Botox hostage until I paid over $1k of which I was never billed but was told it was passed due. I pay said bill so I can get the refill. I finally get the not to send me to a person, only to find that there is a 25 minute wait. I hit the callback option. They callback but it rings once and they hang up. So I call again and wait on hold for the full time. At that point, I find that it isn’t even the right number to refill the Botox but it is express scripts and they give me another number (866-892-9976). I call that number only to be put on hold for 35 minutes. I get told that they have the refill and will process it in the next 24-48 hours (yeah right, I will call them back) so I call the billing to check on why I am not getting billed. Billing is at express scripts at 866-880-1239 and yes, they are the same company as Accredo. They are sending the bills in my Botox that go to the doctor that do not go to my home (because patients do not inject themselves with Botox…duh) and I have to tell them to send me a bill every time because it is up to me to do their job evidently. And by the way, I found that the right number is 800-803-2523 to call to get refills…geez!! What a ridiculous company!!

Why is this pharmacy still in business? I have been trying to get my erythropoietin injection from them, and it has been back and forth nonstop. They initially claimed that they never received the prescription, which was false; I can view it on my dashboard. The representatives are rude and unhelpful. They keep giving me the run around for my medication and then insisting I have my doctor's office call and then giving me attitude when I tell them that I have been waiting. Extremely poor service!!!!! They are anything but helpful.

I was forced to give accredo a star in order to write a review. I would give zero stars. I have had issues with their billing department since I’ve started my medication…4 years ago! Now, they’re not sending my medication because they said I have no coverage! I have more coverage than is required! I’m forced to call accredo monthly and spend hours on the phone just to repeat the same information. And accredo has delayed sending my medication! They need to be investigated. This is insanity!
