Comenity bank is horrible. They dropped my limit leaving my overlimit. Then after I was 500 under new limit dropped it again. As a result of them changing my limit my credit scores dropped. Their reason had nothing to do with their account but the fact i was carrying balances on my other credit cards. I was carrying balances as a result of the Corona virus.

This company is absolutely terrible. I used a promotion on their Room Place credit card. They gave me a payment due date that was 7 days later than the promotional end date. A slight overlook on my part. I had set up paperless billing and automatic payments so I did not realize that issue until I received another bill for the following month. The interest charge was almost $300. I apologized for the oversight and asked if they could waive the fee, but I was told they would not do it. I have been a loyal customer for several years and have always made my payments on time. Here is an opportunity for them to show loyal consideration and mercy to their customer and they out right refused to help. I would NOT recommend anyone use this company and I will no longer use their card again.

I applied for this credit card on the Wayfair website. Made payments on time, each month. Then in September they announced that they closed my account, because Wayfair doesn’t work with them anymore. Good for Wayfair! Then in September I had financial difficulties because of this stupid pandemic time, and instead of making payment on 10th and made payment on 15th but I paid off my balance completely, it was $ 0. When they sent me a bill for $33 late fee, I called them I asked to remove that fee, because I made my previous payments on time, and I paid off my balance. I asked them why you charge fees on the account that currently has 0 and it’s closed??! And I simply wasn’t able to pay it on time I had financial difficulties. They didn’t agree with that, I was super angry because in any other bank they would agree that it’s the case there to remove late fee is appropriate but they didn’t. I wasn’t able to made that payment unfortunately. In December they sent me $68, so they added one more late fee. But thanks God I was table to pay it in December! I hope they will choke with these money. It’s an evil company. And btw their automatic payment systems needs many improvements.

This company charged me late fees even when I paid on time. I spent an entire week on the phone with them trying to get the situation absolved. Still ended up paying cause I didn’t want to deal with derogatory marks on my credit. Then 6 months after I paid off the card and their bogus fees, they closed the account on me without warning, gave me a negative impression on my credit, and then sent me to a number that basically told me to go screw myself and hung up on me. You might as well go stick your hand in a wood chipper as it would do more good than asking these folks to be decent.

I have found this app super easy to use. Everything from checking my balance to paying my bill. I have read some of the other reviews, but I have never experienced a problem. I make my payment through the app, get a confirmation #, and its really simple. I have even made payments ON the due date and have never received a late pay...Not sure why so many others are having issues...

I’ve been a loyal customer to Comenity bank but you haven’t been loyal to me. I regret ever doing business with you. You’re like a snake oil salesmen who continues to get by with your criminal behavior with customers. I have cried over the torture you have put me through making my credit score plummet when I was paying on time never missed a payment and end the end you screwed me. I feel like go ahead and sue me because you can’t garnish my wages as I’m on SSI

I have had the worst experience with Comenity Bank via Wayfair. The bank does not accept Credit or Debit as a form of payment - absurd, I'm aware. Not only that, if you do enter your account information, they accept it and reach out to you WEEKS LATER saying that they didn't get the payment and hit you with a $30 fee. It's been 3 weeks of non-stop waste of my time trying to get Comenity to fix this or get updates in a decent manner Do yourself a favor and stay away!

Comenity is the most heartless and greedy bank in America, notwithstanding, in the time of COVID. In spite of my pleas, they refused to to waive interest of more than 311 dollars on my remaining 545 special finance purchase I made with Wayfair, even though I have been making payments that could have covered the special finance purchases, instead they have applied those payments to my regular purchases.They are devoid of any consideration at all, they only see customers/you as numbers instead of a person.
