Well it looks like they are calling the bad reviews as untrue. I have read the good reviews and either they were very lucky or those are the untruths I have had the exact same problem with this company and my baby has diabetes. This is not something to be messed around with the way they are doing me. It has been a week with the same promise of over night and twice it has not happened. Now it's Friday and they are closed and won't be in till Monday Now I have been sent over to live chat. And they don't know what's happening. Not very well versed on these matters and I'm pretty sure I just received an other false promise. Please save yourself a lot of stress and most of all SAVE YOUR PETS

I'd give zero stars if possible. I have ordered from this company four times and every time I receive emails telling me my vet requires me to send in a written prescription which is not true. My vet sends prescriptions via email and fax all the time. I called 1800petmeds and a representative said their system show a written prescription is required and when I told her that was not correct, her response was that there was nothing she could do. I had to call my vet and 1800petmeds three times each to get this taken care of. I also emailed about the issue and received a response that someone had called me and left a voicemail which was not true! It is a horrible company who doesn't care about its customers and lies!

I placed my 1st order on April 13, with all the necessary information. On the 14th I checked back my order only to find that they had called the wrong vet office (this is the beginning of dealing with sheer stupidity!). I contacted them and advised them that their mistake. In the late afternoon of April 16th I checked the status of my order and it was still « pending vet approval ». Again I contacted them only to be told that it was too late and they will contact the vet the following day to get the approval and since I was running out of the meds, they would expedite my order overnight free of charge. Monday April 19 once again I checked to see if indeed my order was shipped and it was still « waiting for vet approval »! I contacted them again only to be told that « they had contacted the vet’s office and was put on hold »! I guess the hold time was unacceptable to them they hung up and DID’NT call back. While chatting online with the rep at 800petmeds, I was told they were currently contacting the vet’s office. I decided to call the vet’s office at the same time. I was on the phone with the pharmacist @ the vet’s office for apx. 5 minutes NO one from 800petmeds ever called them. Not to mention the pharmacist told me « I don’t know why they would be calling us when in fact they know any request for approval needs to be made via email »! So sent that message to 800 petmeds and I was told they were going to send the email request. Sigh, today April 21 I checked to see if my order was being processed once again it was still « waiting for vet approval ». Once again i contacted them and asked why this is still the case and I was told by Jacqueline that this medication « (Gabapentin) is handled differently than most meds because its a controlled substance and cannot be put through electronically. Therefore their pharmacists has to call them. Hummmm I thought they called yesterday and the day before that, and on Friday and Saturday! When I challenged her response, she graciously answered « our office is calling them now, check back later & you will see that took place » « Check back later » IS’NT THAT WHAT I HAVE BEEN DOING FOR THE PAST WEEK OR SO???? When I challenged her response she disconnected the conversation!

Have used 1800PetMeds for years and always pleased with their service. Recently I had problems with my vet responding to their request for a prescription but 1800PedMeds continued to contact them and expedited my order at no additional cost, when they finally received the information from my vet.

I order Apoquel 16mg, Sentinel & NexGard regularly or as-need from PETMEDS and break the Apoquel in half. Now our Pumpkin has a broken pelvis from slipping on the ice (4-deck steps) & the Vet has her off all meds for now. Keep any surface as clear as you can! Claws don’t matter! We have a doggie and kitty. Every time I order, I receive a ton of emails and useless coupons. I have unsubscribed to no avail. I will go elsewhere as First-time use coupons are as useless as the emails I receive immediately after purchasing an item from them. Requests to STOP go unanswered. Next time, I will go elsewhere! The delivery is good and they always include a doggie biscuit but, enough is enough! Following this review, I get yet another email from Petmeds! Unsubscribing does no good! Be warned!

Worst Way to get medication for your pet. They don't follow Dr's prescriptions directions and won't request written prescriptions. Verbal confirmation over the phone can leave room for error in properly administering your pet's med.

After hitting several roadblocks with the processing of a prescription, customer service reps at 1800PetMeds helped resolve the matter and provided overnight shipping at no added cost. They were quite helpful. Thank you!
