Every experience has been great so it's hard to narrow one event down. First, they actually answer the phone!! Like a live person! I've had some trouble with getting my contacts sent due to fault of my own and I've been in touch with the company daily for two weeks with both sides calling each other. They were so patient with me and did whatever necessary to resolve my issues. I've never ever had such a terrific company to work with and their customer service people are all so sweet and down to earth. Look forward to giving them my business for years to come

Thieves. Don’t give them your card number.

This company is guilty of appearing that a new customer can get a 30% discount on the first order. Great! Then as the ordering process continues, they ask if you also want your insurance applied to the order. Of course, I thought, it’s one less thing I need to do later. BUT, then the total of the order appears and it’s munch higher than it should be considering the discount plus the insurance allowance. So, I contacted Customer Service, to be informed that they cannot apply both (“for some reason “), so they REMOVED the 30% discount ($191), and kept my insurance discount of $150. This is UNSCRUPULOUS business practice- the customer service representative was either naive or complacent, I’m not sure which. I remedied the situation but how many customers just go ahead and buy and accept that they don’t get the discount as advertised???? The BBB and department of consumer affairs should be aware.

Above and beyond customer service! I had ordered my contacts through 1-800 Contacts for the first time last year and it was incredibly easy to order. 5 minutes with my prescription beside me for reference and done! Last week, one of my contact lenses ripped and I was on vacation so had no extra pairs. I contacted customer service and they shipped a new pair to me completely free of charge that arrived the very next day! Insanely good customer service and I cannot say enough good things about my experience.

The only way it provides a discount is through a rebate card. The rebate card I received doesn't work. After several hours visiting the websites and the call centers for both the card and 1-800 Contacts, and receiving absolutely no satisfaction (including being completely able to speak to a human at the card company to which 1-800 Contacts sent me), I gave up.

I’m not a customer but your commercials are stupid and annoying!

Not worth the money or the wait. Much cheaper to go to a local Walmart to get my prescription. Better price and will have it that day rather having to spend $15-20 to have it delivered or wait over a week for them to come in free shipping.

Ordered contacts with credit card that had $500 on it. Said contacts were on backorder and it might take a week or so to get them. I told them to hold my order and as soon as they get in, ship them to me. (Specifically said do not cancel order, just ship them out as soon as they get in) So a week later I get an email saying that the contacts are in but that the card has been declined. (Now this card is a flex spending card that had $500 on it and contacts can be purchased with it). So i said, what do you mean the card was declined. You accepted the card when I purchased the contacts and the card shows only .11 cents left after the cost of the contacts which means you took my money. My healthcare provider echoed that saying that their records show 1800contacts has the money. Well after 4 hours on the phone going back and forth, i finally decided, well let me cancel the order and they will have to refund the money back to the card. So now I am waiting for the refund. (The thing is, the card is only valid until Dec 31st. So if 1800contacts doesnt refund my money, I will lose the whole $500 because flex soending accounts lose their value at ens of year. Why do I feel like someone pocketed the cash at 1800contacts?!? Hmmm!! If they actually refund the money and I am able to reorder contacts...I will add to this review. As of now....I am dissapointed with their "Gajillion Percent Promise" HA!
