Didn’t show up on Thursday even after telling us they were running 2 hours behind. No customer service after late afternoon. Claimed tech was on his way to the warehouse, then couldn’t get battery. Canceled our order and refuse to refund our money.
BUYER BEWARE! Don’t trust misleading reviews on their site, check Facebook, Texas BBB, etc before you give them your credit card. Surprised Visa doesn’t have a bunch of charge backs and hasn’t dropped them yet.

They take orders they know they can't fulfill!
They took my order at 2:26 pm, at a time when there were slots available from 2 to 4 and from 4 to 5. I took the latter. I sent them a message via their own chat at 5:02 pm and they said they wouldn't be able to do the job until the next day because their tech was in CT, something that was obviously the case the moment they accepted the order. My advice: skip the middleman and don't trust these clearinghouses that sell other people's services.

Avoid this company
Installed a battery, my car died a day or two later, so I had them do a warranty check to see if it was a bad battery. Sent the SAME PERSON who told me it was my car, not the battery, and I believed them. My car had to be jumped 3 times since then, and I finally took it in to see if it was the alternator, etc and the mechanic ran diagnostics on my car, determined it was a BAD BATTERY, installed a new one and now my car is running perfectly. Ran a diagnostic after the new battery install and confirmed it was still the old bad battery. Tried to go through the company to resolve, who told me I needed to find the garbage battery and go through the warranty process again. Huge scam, not worth the cost, stay away.

This is the worst company I have ever…
UPDATE: This is the worst company I have ever dealt with, EVER! I normally only take time to give good reviews. But this experience has been not only beyond poor but potentially dangerous. In January I ordered a battery that online that was suggested from the site for my Dodge Journey. The man came out, put it on, all the while complaining that he wasn't happy that he had to remove the tire to put the battery on. The company charged 200 in labor over the cost of the battery to put it on. A couple weeks later, the battery is completely dead. I called this company and they charged me $99.99 to come out and check the battery. It was bad so they replaced it with a battery that the technician ran done to the corner Auto Zone to purchase. I knew this is true because I asked him for the receipt. He allowed me to take a picture of the receipt, which I still have. He was the same technician that put the first battery in. Now, three weeks later, the battery is completely dead again. So I had my car towed to the Dodge Dealership and they tested the battery. They told me "The battery is a dud. It has several dead cells." They said the battery was so bad that they could not even jump my car for several tries. They did all kinds of diagnostics on my car. No problems. Just the battery. Now my car is in the shop getting a new battery from the dealership. Of course, the shop was very busy so it took them 3 days to get to this point. That's 3 days that I'm stranded without tranportation due to 1800battery.com. After I got off the phone with the mechanic, I called 1800battery and am told that since the first battery was replaced, the second battery doesn't have a warranty. That they will NOT reimburse me any of the $339 dollars I paid for the battery service they provided. Heck, they should be apologetic for the horrible service. The representative from 1800battery.com, Jaylen, that I spoke with said, "I hear your frustration but that's just policy." I am currently waiting for a call back from the manager, Jason. I will update this review if they call back. Somehow I doubt they will even bother. Sad. DO NOT USE THEM!! UPDATE: Still no call back from 1800battery.com. I did bring the battery back to Auto Zone and showed them the picture of the receipt from the technician that I took. Auto Zone told me that their warranty definitely would rollover to the second battery. The corporate specialist at Auto Zone told me that since the battery was purchased on 1800battery's account that they will get with them and see if they can get 1800battery to refund me. Fingers crossed.

Unacceptable at all levels
1-800-Battery service is unacceptable at all levels. After providing my 2018 car info they gave me a 10 am- 12 pm appointement they did not keep, so I was stuck home until the tech showed up at 5 pm with no explanation. He spent 2 minutes to say he did not have the $25 scanner to enter the new battery code number required for most german and some new cars. I declined the incomplete battery installation that can lead electrical or other problems and later I was billed with a $100 service charge. I contacted and messaged twice 1.800.Battery to discuss the charge when they could not do a proper and safe battery installation, but they never got back to me. Not on time, no explanation, no full battery installation, no reply to my messages. Need I say more here folks?

Zero star!!!!I canceled the order…
Zero star!!!!I canceled the order because their technician didn’t show up the entire day I was waiting for. Then I found out I got charged $335 for the battery and service I did not receive. However, they told me they will charge me after the service. Now I am trying to call their customer service for my refund but nobody picks up the phone. I texted them and also left a voicemail but no answer.

Do not purchase.
I purchased a battery and had it installed.(feb2021) well the battery keep losing charge and would not crank my vehicle.(so if i turn the car off i will need a jump) I went and had it tested bad battery no surprise there. I called, texted and sent an email.
It took two days before i heard anything then i received and email that said yes if the battery is bad we will replace it. Emailed them back and still have not heard back.
If you have a job and kids you cant have a car down for 3 or 4 days because of a battery which is an easy fix. If i had purchased locally i could have just went down the street problem solved. First red flag when the guy came to change the battery he had a van full of them...how long have they been in there? Second red flag you will never reach customer service by phone.
