The low end indoor bicycle smart trainers such as Wahoo Kickr and JetBlack Victory come with a Zwift hub and a free trial of Zwift and cost $400 to $500 plus shipping. The Zwift set up and running can be overwhelming to someone who did not grow up with such programs or is not computer savvy. And of course they do not provide a telephone number to help you. You can return the trainers within 30 days if you pay the shipping, but let that slip and you are out of luck. You have just bought a $400 or $500 paperweight. For younger bike riders this is probably not an issue.

Last year I bought a lot of equipment for my turbo trainer. In that, I was given one years subscription to Zwift. I was unaware that this also came with an auto renew. I had not used my Zwift in months due to a problem with sciatica. Once they had taken the £179 subscription I immediately informed them that this auto renew was not required 1 day after the payment was pending from my account. A few emails later and not even the decency to acknowledge my email. I am part of a large cycling group that will all be cancelling our continued membership. Disgusting customer service. Please note, this auto renew will not show up in your apple subscriptions!

Please be careful when you are using a 30 day free trial then you wanna get a refund. 1) there was no direct customer contact number to talk 2) Zwift will not pay back for you not unless you check your account by yourself- for my case, it is not user friendly, and hard to reach them, answer is not prompt and clear. Zwift inadvertently forgotten (or I don't know) to pay me back, it took 2 and half months to get it back after 10 emails. Luckily I checked my bank account!! Luckily Zwift gave me a refund!! Overall, my experience with Zwift for customer service was one star. How to handle this issue, and how slow the process was, most importantly not even made an apology for its fault. Plus, Zwift's not price worthy, I will be back to the free ones. they are pretty good and exactly the same.

I am trying to get a refund from Zwift based on the fact that I cancelled within 30 days of my first annual subscription. Have emailed them several times without receiving any response and tried - unsuccessfully - to get anything useful from their chat bot. How do I get the refund I am due?

To be such a big name in the cycling world, the graphics are embarrassingly bad, like playing a very, very old game.

Been trying to return a parcel for 2 weeks. Zwift return portal automatically gives you a FedEx return label, which is great is there was any FedEx drop off points around your area, which there isn’t for me. Emailed customer service 10 days ago and the experience is nothing less than shocking. I only receive a response every 2-3 days and it’s a useless one at that. Somebody finally offered to get FedEx to pick the parcel up, but when I mentioned I’m not home till 4pm, they responded with I can see you’re home till 4pm and book the collection for when I wasn’t at home. Sent me the link to book it myself but you cannot because you need Zwifts company account login which is comical. I’m still left with the return parcel 2 weeks later and the automated, pre typed responses are getting me nowhere. Quick to take your money but don’t help to give back. Much better service with other companies I’m afraid. Would not be recommending.

Service client déplorable... J ai pris un abonnement annuel. Qui a été retiré au niveau bancaire mais il n a jamais été activé, je n ai jamais reçu le mail.. J en suis à dix mails et je pense que c est une ia qui me répond.... Ils me demandent d annuler sur le lien du mail que je n ai jamais reçu.... On est fin janvier et le sujet dur depuis le 10 décembre.. J ai dû prendre un autre abonnement pour utiliser le matériel. Insupportable Romain
