Less than honest
Zwift sold their static bike trainer (apparently made by Jet Black) with a choice of cassette for a drive trains of different speeds. They did not mention that the supplied cassette does not work with Campagnolo, in my case, 10 speed. I bought a device which fits to the rear mech and is supposed to correct the shifting spacing. It doesn't. As a result, the only option was erg mode or a noisy drivetrain which wouldn't stay in gear. I found this unenjoyable. There were also numerous problems with the software. I had to update my graphics drivers, which was a struggle. The hub was always slow and uncertain connecting to bluetooth, and I couldn't connect to bluetooth with the HRM if the hub was connected. (I think you are supposed to be able to connect the HRM to the hub, but this never worked.) I enjoyed the virtual races when they were against real people, not bots, but soon tired of the video game style virtual environments. Generally, I did not find the interface intuitive or easy to control which it needs to be when you are doing hard physical work. In particular, selecting erg mode and keeping it in erg mode was frustrating. I looked at a number of reviews for Zwift, none of which mentioned these issues. I assume brands get the reviews they pay for.
