WHYYYYYY do you have to pay a non-refundable fee of nearly $30? I applied when my car was in the shop and then never used it. I called and they don't refund the application fee. There has got to be better options out there. Stay away.

Outrageous customer service. My Zipcar was not parked in its dedicated bay due to scaffolding covering the bay. I spoke to customer service and asked where to pick up from. It was 20 minutes away. On return the scaffolding was still obvs there such rang again and asked where to park. They advised and agreed a spot that was free for the weekend only. As no one else booked the vehicle that weekend on the Monday it got a pcn. The spot was verbally agreed with them. However the fine was charged to me. This is contrary to their terms and conditions where it states an agreed spot becomes their responsibility if discussed in person, and they themselves should move it. They had 56 hours notice of the impending controlled hours restriction. I am outraged. I have sent multiple emails to Zipcar and they ignore me. AVOID!!

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. Rented a van from zipcar for 2 hours - amounted to £35. 2 days later they took a further £95 from my account for an alleged road violation fine from TFL- when I reached out to them multiple times to get more information on this they did not respond to my emails and when I called customer service they just told me to send more emails. From my perspective I have been charged a further £95 with no evidence as to why, terrible customer service and will not be coming back to use this company and would not recommend others to

Zipcar is the best car rental service due to how they manage trips. I also love how they’re willing to work with you, rather than against you, if there’s an issue. I plan on using their services indefinitely! It’s truly a 5-star experience! Frfr!!!

At least 40% of the time I rent a Zipcar, they screw it up. Today's example is that I booked a car a block away from my house. When I checked on the app, they changed the reservation, without telling me, to a car that is 40 MINUTES AWAY FROM MY HOUSE!!!!! When I demanded cab fare back and forth, they said all they could do was offer to extend the reservation or credit my next one. F... Zipcar!!!! If only there were other options! I HATE ZIPCAR!!!!!!

No stars they took my money made me wait two days when it was misleading that I can get the car right then if I pay and put my driver's license but no they took 36 bucks and I never got the car at all it wasn't available two days later so I never used the service I put two hours y'all charged me for two hours only to say you have to be approved so why take my money then take another 9 bucks for service I'm not or never got I had to go see my kid in hospital after emergency and y'all f'ed me made me look like a father who took his time when I was mislead to believe if I pay I'll drive na could and will rather use uhaul there straight up what they say is what they do IDC about the run on sentences I'm pissed

Very Poor service. i booked a van for the morning this was confirmed on the App then i could not log in as i had changed my pghone number i call ed the support team ....finally got through to then realise i cant change my number. or use my business card to ppay for the service when ive been using that card for over a year...! wow.

what a waste of time and money! submitted my aplication on their website after being lured by their promise to book a car within minutes - a couple of days later i receive an e-mail requestung for additional documents including a photo of myself holding my passport, one of myself holding my drivers licence and a piece of paper with the word ‘zipcar’ and the date written on it plus my bank statement(!). after submitting all this personal info i received an e-mail back the following day saying that my application has bren rejected, meaning i have wasted my £15 application fee! what a rip off!
