I created a posting for my apartments. Upon my first review, I found all kinds of additions to my listing that were completely not true. Next, I received an email from a perspective tenant, telling me the phone number on my ad was INVALID!!!! I have been advertising for 2 months with an INVALID PHONE NUMBER???? I just went to my ad again, and found that NONE OF THE INFORMAYION ON MY POSTING WAS DISPLAYED NONE!!! I have sent them $140 to date ads that are not what I created. There is something terrible wrong here. Zillow needs to be investigated for fraud.

My landlord asked me to set up payment through Zillow so I set up an account and authorized them to take my rent on the first of the month. First off, they did debit my account, but it turns out that they had some kind of issue on the landlord side and ended up canceling the transaction. Here's the thing though, they KEPT MY MONEY. My rent isn't paid, it is now the 12th of the month and Zillow says that they cannot refund my money, that I have to go to my bank and have the bank dispute the debit from my account. The bank says that it now takes 10 business days to resolve the dispute [which is not guaranteed to go my way]. So...to sum up. Zillow debited the money for my rent, did not pay my rent [Zillow very well could have resolved issues with my landlord prior to debiting my account as I set it up with plenty of time for them to do so], and now says via email that there is nothing they can do. Has anyone else had this issue? Zillow will have my rent money for at least 3 weeks before I know whether or not I will get it back. On top of everything Zillow makes it near impossible to speak with a human being about the issue. Zillow is this what customer service has come to? And is it really Zillow's business model to hold money instead of completing my rent transaction? Life is hard enough these days. Zillow...please send me back what is rightfully mine and in the meantime send me a phone number so I can speak to a person about this and get it resolved.

Today I had no choice but to remove most of my listings from Zillow. I am a realtor and have about 50 rental listings. I made the mistake of signing up for Zillow mls downloads. From the start it was problematic. Took longer than anticipated to start. I was told that I would be alerted when the service would start. I guess they meant that one day out of the blue all of my listings would download at once. Bc I am now paying per listing I did not want to pay for all of my rental listings. So I cancelled them. The next day they downloaded again. So I canceled all of them again. The next day they all came back. This happened over and over again. There was no way to stop it and nobody to help me Zillow is benefiting. Not only have they hijacked my mls feed so they get all of my listings to populate their site they are charging me. They are charging me a lot more per listing than originally agreed upon. 50 cents more per lead per day times 50. Adding up Next problem. It is impossible to get a person on the phone. This problem has been going on for months. Deandre who sold me the service. Will not contact me back. Sean Lee a supervisor. Called me a month ago. I have reached out to him twice this week. Bc I actually have his number. He has not bothered to return my call. Molly Sloane who is another supervisor Only contacted me once. This was once a great lead generator. I think that Zillow offers such terrible customer service this will be their demise. This horrible stressful experience has forced me to look into other sources for advertising. Realtor.com. Apartments.com. Homesnap. They all have one thing in common. A person available to fix the problem. W a phone call. It is shocking that such a successful company has missed it completely w such a simple idea. Customer service!!

I signed to get real estate leads from Zillow at $500 per month. They promised me I was going to get at least 60 leads in 6 months contract. It has been 60 days and I have gotten no leads. They say they have sent me leads but these leads are not qualified to buy a house, any house. I was promised that if I didn't get any leads that they will switch me to another zip code and that they were going to work with me to be successful. When I requested the change of zip code and complain about the quality of leads, I was told that if I wanted good leads I need to pay more money. I told them I need to get out of the contract because I can't afford to be paying for zero leads. Their answer is that ZILLOW has rules and I would not be able to get out of the contract. AGENTS please don't fall for their sales pitch and hope that you will get high-quality or even average leads. Zillow is scamming agents and after you sign their contract they can care less if you get something back or not, in return for your hard-earned money. The salesperson is asking me why am I complaining so soon and that I should wait longer to get a single lead!! I already paid $1000 and due for another $500 and not a single lead after 60 days. The salesperson is telling me that if a client doesn't qualify now I should wait around 2 years for this client to return. ZILLOW is illegally ripping agents off with false promises and on top of that, they are enforcing a fake contract. How is there a company like Zillow that is shameless charging agents credit cards in exchange for nothing? The Federal Trade Commission should put a stop to these illegal contracts that are good for nothing. I'm on my 5th-month of horrible after-effects from covid and wanted to pick some leads and get back to work. I don't have a single lead from Zillow but I do have a credit card bill for $1000 and due for another $500. Realtors stay away from lead scam contracts from Zillow.
