Zillow App is absolutely a big Scam!
I tried to purchase a home I saw on Zillow, both agent from Zillow (seller and buyer agent Zillow). They sold the house to someone else after being in contract with me. The agents never returned my Deposit back to me the amount of $30000.
Now I’ve to hire Lawyer to recover my earnest money. Don’t trust this App at all
Please do your research before you end up like me
Lawyers cost $10k - 15k depending what area.
$550-660 per hour
Good luck guys

Excellent Customer Service
Zillow was excellent. I worked with Amberleigh Dancy-Gonzales and was so very pleased with her in all areas. She was very professional, knowledgable, walked me thru the entire process from beginning to end with ease. She was very patient and answered all my questions thoroughly. I would recommend Zillow for all.

Frustrating
After using it for a few weeks it became more and more frustrating. There are genuinely decent listings but you have to scour through so many terrible or fake listings, they don't seem to get removed either. Just an unpleasant experience.

Zillow ShowingTime+ Experience
I contacted Zillow ShowingTime+ in good faith, seeking additional exposure for my property listings. I was sold a 6-month ShowingTime+ contract by a representative named Chris P., with no training, no onboarding, and no explanation of how the product would actually integrate with my current marketing process.
As a real estate broker, I invest heavily in high-quality photography and Matterport 3D tours, which are the industry standard for immersive marketing in my market. However, I later discovered that Matterport is not compatible with ShowingTime+, and this critical incompatibility was never disclosed by the sales rep prior to payment.
Because of this seemingly minor technical issue, the entire product was rendered unusable. Zillow does offer a separate (and free) 3D product, but it is vastly inferior in quality and would require me to replace both my photographer and their equipment, or personally purchase a new, lower-quality camera—again, none of which was disclosed at the point of sale. These limitations were only mentioned in a post-purchase automated welcome email, after payment had already been collected.
I immediately reached out for cancellation and refund. For nearly a month, I heard nothing. I followed up regularly via email, with no resolution. Eventually, I received calls—not to resolve the issue, but to suggest that I pay more money to lower my marketing standards, buy different equipment, and keep paying for the product regardless of its incompatibility.
Now, after nearly two months of being charged nearly $500/month for a product I cannot use, I am told that they will not cancel the contract or issue a refund. Zillow’s advice remains the same: downgrade your marketing to suit our limited tech.
This is a clear case of misrepresentation at the point of sale, failure to disclose material limitations, and refusal to honor basic business ethics. A product that cannot be used due to known compatibility issues should not be forced upon brokers, especially when those issues were not explained beforehand.
Zillow ShowingTime+ had every opportunity to make this right. Instead, they’ve chosen to be combative, evasive, and ultimately unethical in their business practices. This experience has cost me both time and money, and has damaged my trust in Zillow’s suite of paid tools.

Incompetent
They insisted my 5 bedroom 3 bath house was commercial. It is not commercial. Ive lived here 20 years and its easy to prove. They are incompetent, simply put. They definitely couldn't care less about people who seek free listings

I've used Zillow multiple times to look…
I've used Zillow multiple times to look for listings and it has always been a very mixed and poor experience. The listings are poor quality, a lot of them lead nowhere and the customer service is completely useless.

Not very good
Lots of false info man, can't recommend it. Customer support isn't good either. You can find some good property but either way I'd rather use something else.
