Yampu ToursReviews of yampu.com

We recently returned from a two week excursion to Vietnam. Yampu Tours took care of all the details and was very accommodating to our large travel group. Every day was filled with a new adventure, including many "bucket list" items. I would highly recommend Yampu Tours for booking your next overseas travel adventure.

It was a pleasure working with Yampu Tours from the initial planning of our trip to Peru all the way through the perfect execution for travel and tours. At every destination, a friendly representative greeted us and safely and efficiently escorted us to our lovely hotel, providing useful information along the way. Each tour guide was professional, friendly, and informative. The cultural tours that allowed us to view and participate in the daily lives of the Andean people and the Uros Tribe at Lake Titicaca were uniquely, sensational experiences. I appreciated the effort that our trip advisor, Karolina, spent in recommending and arranging our itinerary to include some requested higher cost items, while working with us to stay within a reasonable budget. Our excursion to Machu Picchu was ideal from the spectacular Hiram Bingham train trip to the initial tour of the ruins and the overnight stay at the beautifully, peaceful Sanctuary Hotel. The true highlight of the trip occurred while hiking Wayna Picchu, giving us the opportunity to truly experience the mystique of the mountains and appreciating the Incan traditions of worshiping nature. Yampu Tours understands Peru, making this vacation a culturally explosive experience that has created magical memories. Thank you!

We did the 5 day 4 night Salkantay Trek as well as an additional 3 nights in Posadas Amazonas. I felt as though the Yampu portion of our trip was absolutely wonderful. 5 star all around. It was when Yampu handed us off to a different tour company that we felt a slight drop in our experience. Our Salkantay Trek was through Lima tours. Our guide was amazing, our chef was outstanding. What we didn't realize is that there were accomdations above and beyond our tent options. Same was true when we left for Puerto Maldonado. This part of the trip was with Rainforrest expeditions. Again they guide was wonderful. Just felt a notch down from the Yampu parts of our tour. I think it would be wise for each member of the tour sales desk to have visited each destination recommended. I would certainly use Yampu again!

Excellent Company

Our vacation to the Galapagos was incredible and Yampu made it all possible. We expected our family to be one of several families in the tour, but we were the only ones!! We received all the attention with plenty of free time. Yampu was there to be sure we were on time, ahead of the line and always happy. We had a personal guide on each island where all guides spoke English and very informative. Highly recommended !!!

Loved this tour and it was all due to the hard work of this travel agency! Everyone involved was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I took my minor daughter through 4 countries and we were taken care of every step of the way. There was always someone to meet us and show us the way at every departure. The guides were fluent in English and knew the local area. I highly recommend this agency and will definitely use them again!

As a travel agent, I have used Yampu for my clients who want to see more of the world than the usual resorts, but are not able or willing to rough it. Yampu has all the contacts to put together trips to less explored lands in the manner my clients need without putting them on the tour bus with 40 other travelers. They work with me and my clients putting together a total or partial package, building in the elements we need. I have worked with Stephanie Rudolph many times. She is particularly excellent, handling all the details with me and following up with my clients before, during and after their trip. I wouldn't work with anyone else! They are the best!

My husband and I had the pleasure of taking our first trip to Africa together under the care and planning of Yampu and their wonderful staff. They took the time to hear what we were hoping to get out of our trip and gave us wonderful suggestions on how to enhance it as well. Our trip was very last minute but they were so patient and diligent regardless. They were able to set up 2 wonderful safari experiences as well as work in some business appointments we needed to attend to while we were there. Everything was smooth right from the beginning to end. We always had a contact person available with quick responses. The people they arranged for us to be our guides once in Africa were wonderful. We felt very safe and fully catered to. The places they recommended far exceeded our expectations. If only we had had more time. That was the best trip we have ever taken together. We certainly have many lasting memories to hold on to and can't wait to return someday with our children. We look forward to planning more amazing trips with Yampu in the near future. There are so many beautiful places out there that we would like to see and we know Yampu would show us just how to experience them in such spectacular ways. Until next time and with much gratitude, Colleen L.
