Yampu ToursReviews of yampu.com

Start to end, Yampu organized an excellent 7 day tour. All days were filled with interesting sights and important landmarks. Hotels were the best value available and excellent locations. Internal flights and transportation were well planned. The only minor criticism evolve around the english language skills of the tour guides in Hanoi and Saigon.

Our tour to Quito and the Galapagos Islands, Ecuador was extremely well planned, with excellent accommodations and knowledgeable tour guides. The experience was once in a lifetime and my husband and I are grateful we chose Yampu to plan it for us!

We started travelling with Yampu in 2009 when we took our first trip to South America and visited Peru. We researched tour companies and spoke to several different ones, and we were the most impressed with Yampu. When we decided to take our second south america trip this year (2016) we also booked through Yampu. Our 2016 trip was to Brazil, Argentina, and Chile including Patagonia. We wanted to sample a little of everything and wanted to cover a lot of ground. The trip went very smoothly. Our hotels, tours, and transportation were perfect. When you want to see a lot of different places in a short time, you need a very good tour company to arrange your itinerary and transfers so everything works smoothly and efficiently. Yampu also did a great job helping us select the best itinerary that matched our particular desires and interests. This company really knows south america and their affiliates down there are excellent. We were also very impressed with their custom printed daily itinerary and trip guidebook they provided us showing us the details of our trip and what to expect, which I carried with me and referred to each day. This guide also included a brief overview of each country and destination we visited. There was one time on our recent trip when we had a question about a local pickup and tour, and when we called Yampu, they jumped on it right away and provided us clarification. This company knows their stuff and they have been doing this for awhile. We were very satisfied with Yampu. Happy Travels!

I was proactive in planning my trip to Vietnam trying to experience everything I had been researching. My agent did a fabulous job putting the final itinerary together including amazing hotel suggestions. The guides were PERFECT, spoke English, knowledgeable, friendly and always on time. I hope to plan another trip in the near future and will definitely use Yampu Services again

Amazing trip to Macho Piccho and Amazon River! Very dependable, prompt, guides were excellent. The transportation was smooth, no problems. The accomodations were excellent except the one hotel in Aguas Calientes, The El Mapi. Ok hotel, food not very good. Should have stayed at the Inkaterra Pueblo, wow that is nice! The hotel in Lima was beautiful but in the business district, terrible location. Better down by the water in a section called Mira Flores. All in all, a great trip. Thank you.

Amazing trip, beyond my bucket list expectations!! Peru is simply am magical country. The people, the food, the sights, the hotels. I did the one day Inca Trail trek to Machu Picchu after a few days in Cuzco to get used to the altitude. While in Cuzco I took a cooking class!!! Very highly recommend! I would recommend two days at Machu Picchu. Arriving through the sun gate in the afternoon light was breathtaking. When I returned the next morning I was able to enjoy the details and then hike up mt Machu Picchu...not for the faint of heart, but so worth the effort. Again, the magnificence of the place can be seen from a bird's perspective. Following Machu Picchu I spent a few days in the Sacred Valley. I could have easily spent many more days here. I barely tapped the surface of enjoyment exploring sights and markets and simply walking in the hills behind the hotel. I was able to visit a local elementary school in a hill village and see the incredible faces of Peru's future. Yampu knows the country inside and out and were able to direct me to the right guides, hotels and sights. They had a perfect handle on logistics from place to place and when the airlines missed a step, Yampu was right there ready to help smooth over the details for the detour. I cannot recommend this company highly enough for the energy and expertise they invested into making my trip perfect for me. If I have the opportunity to return to Peru, I will do so with Yampu's guiding hand. And my next trip to another destination in South America will start with a call to Yampu. Thank you Yampu!!

My trip was to Easter Island, a private tour. Yampu's role was to coordinate guides, arrange internal air travel, choose and book hotels in Santiago and on the Island, and provide guides and drivers in each. Hotels were not only of appropriate quality, but also interesting and atmospheric; guides were very knowledgeable (especially on the Island) and had excellent English. Obviously this kind of travel is not cheap, but all arrangements were exactly as promised and I find nothing to criticize.

This was the best planned trip I have ever been on. Yampu tours guided us perfectly through Peru. There was always someone to meet us, to take us to the next adventure who was knowledgeable about the culture and the history. The hotels were always great and we were upgraded whenever possible. I can not say enough great compliments for this company.
