Yampu ToursReviews of yampu.com

I am a Travel Advisor and had a group of 26 travel to South America. We received quotes from several companies and Yampu was by far the quickest to provide the itinerary with the most detail. This vacation included 2 different hotels, domestic flights, transfers, private tours for 26. Very complicated and they made it easy. Yampu would be my go to company for any destination that they service. I especially enjoyed working with Karolina.

Yampu provided a smooth service picking us up in Southern Peru and dropping us off in Northern Chilie.

We had 2 trips organized by Yampu tours. First Trip in (2014) was to Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia (21 day trip). We were 6 of us in the trip and everyone had excellent time with very good guides, drivers, and the van in excellent condition. The hotel locations were in centre of the cities which made it easy to do lot of things on your own. Everyone enjoyed the whole trip. This year in January we traveled to Mayamar just two of us. This trip we had few issues with guides, one part of the trip we had issue with the guide (spoke very poor English. so had difficulty understanding) and there was also issue with another guide she spoke little better english, but she had very little knowledge of History of the country. The important things was they did not include some of most important historically sights near inle lakes. Spent too much time on the water on Inle lake. The hotels could be better as they less 3 stars ( american standard) I had inquired about two other trips one to Uganda in April of this year, where the same trip through another agent was half the price. I think Yampu really needs to look at the pricing, because Uganda trips was customized for two of us. The service, guide, 4 wheel drive van and Hotels in this trip were 5 stars (american standard) We were trying to get a quote for a trip to south America in january 2017, again the price was double for 3 star hotels. we like customize tours, so we could do things on our own, so if Yampu do any better for this Trip with little better hotels, we may consider.

wonderful tour

I've used Yampu for several vacations in South America, with my recent one being Chile & Easter Island. They always do a great job of putting together a great itinerary. They also use the best local guides at every location. I can't say enough great things about this company. Wendy and Karolina are especially great travel experts.

satisfied with all the tourist guide, very knowledgeable of the areas they are touring us.i personally like the tour guide in Foz de Iguazo. very caring until we all boarded. He help us, waited for all of us until we all got checked in. He was a gentleman He deserved a wonderful tup from everyone of us

I have travelled on three occasions now with Yampu through numerous countries & more than one continent! I can't recommend Kaolina or Yampu enough & they look after you in exemplary manner from initial contact to checking you arrived home safely. As as solo female traveller safety without compromising on experiences is my brief & Karolina has delivered on every occasion. I love the fact that nothing is too much trouble & I really enjoy the emails back & forth putting the finishing touches onto an itinerary to get it exactly how I envisaged. They really do listen to what you want & have a wealth of knowledge to hand to give excellent advice & tips. Would I travel with Yampu again? Most definitely & I will be doing so in the not too distant future!

Our hiking/sightseeing trip to Patagonia was over-the-top. We were always met on time and recommendations always excellent. It would have been impossible to duplicate on our own.
