Purchased in 2022. Filed 2 claims. To date they've paid 0 out.
They just respond with a bunch of exclusions without properly reading the full claim or trying to help solve.
They clearly do not intend to pay out any claims but promised a high standard of service when I paid the full amount up front. Both claims were not even a significant amount nor do I abuse the coverage.
Would not recommend this company or service.

DONT PURCHASE
DONT PURCHASE! Fradulent. Customer service is aggregious. They will promise you total coverage and up charge you for zero deductible payment, but DENY EVERY CLAIM. Or, they will accept claim but pay less than 5% of what is owed. I purchased three separate claims for ten(10) year 180,000 mile coverage. THIS COMPANY IS HORRENDOUS. I am a board certified family physician US Army veteran. Any lawyer that wants to start a class action case against this company, please contact me. Any customer(s) that has been treated aggregiously like me, join me in starting a class action suit and lets shut this terrible company down. DO NOT PURCHASE!
Make the company send you a copy of the digital warranty guidelines. Do not take your vehicle to Tesla or file a claim until you research every possible issue that you may suspect could be wrong. No matter how minor or serious, or the utter insanity of the expense and time, have your vehicle towed to Tesla. Because you are not clairvoyant, nor can magically diagnosis issue, you will have to be creative and research as many possible issues you think could be cause. Meticulously review every line of Xcare warranty document. Then file complaint with Tesla using exact language. You should provide all warning lights, dates, and times, but note Cxare will dismiss these. VERY IMPORTANT VERY IMPORTANT. VERY IMPORTANT. Even though EV cars do not have any scheduled routine maintenance or evaluation, XCARE uses this as reason for denial and neglect. Strong suggestion, if you, like me, unfortunately purchased this warranty, take your vehicle to telsa every six months, despite this not being required and have them document for scheduled maintenance. Even with this, your claim will still be denied. But this way, when the CLASS Action suit is filed, you will have covered every basis to be able to recover your loss. DO JOT BELIEVE THAT THIS WARRANTY ALLOWS YOU PEACE OF MIND. The reason we purchased this warranty was to cover the very items that they will deny, and offensively hilariously ridiculously shift the blame on you as negligent. DO BOT BUY, DO BOT RECOMMEND, CHOOSE OTHER COMPANY.

Upon submission of the claim and Tesla's service estimate on 10/01/2026, the technical details were reviewed by our claims team and claims supervisors. The documentation indicated an initial leak originating in the Valve Block Assembly.
initial findings- " Repair Notes: Our diagnosis have determined that due to mechanical failure the air suspension valve block experienced a leak on September 22nd of 2026, which resulted in the failure of the air compressor, the vehicle was driven to the service center shortly after the alert appeared, based on the logs of the vehicle, there are no signs of air suspension failure or reports that the vehicle was below normal ride height prior to this date, the age and millage of the vehicle would increase theconsequential damage of the air leak in a short period of time. Due to the compressor failure and
the subsequent collapse of the air springs, the front air spring modules sustained damage. To restore the vehicle to proper working order, we recommend replacing the air compressor, the valve block, and the front air spring modules.'
Because the vehicle continued to be operated with an active air leak, the air compressor was required to continuously overwork to compensate for the loss of air pressure. This continuous operation led directly to the failure of both the compressor and the front air spring modules.
While the authorized portion of the repair covering the underlying failure ($762.00 after $0.00 deductible) was approved, the secondary damage to the compressor and air spring modules is non-covered per Section 9, Subsection O of the contract, which explicitly excludes damage resulting from continued operation after a leak or failure occurs.
On 10/01/2026, management directly communicated these findings to Dr. Jones via email and over the phone, explaining the mechanical sequence of failure and referencing the specific contract exclusions. Additionally, a full copy of the contract was attached and provided to Dr. Jones for his review.
Upon receiving updated notes and estimates from Dr. Jones and Tesla on 10/02/2026, our team immediately reviewed the updated cause of failure which was consistent with the initial repair notes. Denial remained but was once again rejected by the member.

Great extended warranty claim experience
First claim filed. Very good communicators, and easy reimbursement experience. Unfortunate that Tesla service wasn't willing to work with them directly but Xcare reimbursed me 100%. They walked me through the process and it didn't disappoint.
Response from XCare EV Protection™Sep 17, 2026
Thank you so much for the review Kalim. Some Tesla Service Centers have still yet to allow third party payment but we do our best to expedite reimbursements in those situations. Take care and we'll be here when you need us!

Two i-Pace Warranty Claims--$10,000 Saved!!
I have two 2020 Jaguar i-Pace HSE sedans. We love the car but needed to ensure that the high price of Jaguar repairs would be covered after the factory warranties expired. We now have had two separate claims, both of which involved over $5,000 of repairs. XCare sent out adjusters very quickly to verify the claims and worked well with our local Jaguar dealer. We are extremely pleased with the XCare service and thrilled to have saved over $10,000 in costs (it's expensive to service almost anyting on an i-Pace).

Thank you for the review Martin! We're glad we could be there for you in this extreme scenario.

Great Warranty Company for Tesla Cars
I have a current extended warranty on my 2021 MS Plaid (and I previously had one on my 2016 MS P90D). I have had to have two door handles replaced and they covered it under the warranty. Each one was about $700 which they sent me a reimbursement check within a couple of weeks. The process for submitting the claim was pretty easy. They do have very specific things they want in the estimate but nothing that the shop was not able to provide. If you are thinking about a warranty company, I would highly recommend Xcelerate. I have had a great experience with both cars that had this warranty service.

Thank you for the kind words and for being an XCare x 2 member! We miss those P90D days but so much has improved since then and we love our Plaids! Take care!

Phenomenal Service & Communication
I have had an absolute fantastic experience with Xcelerate Auto for my Tesla Model S extended warranty. The claims process is VERY straightforward as long as you follow the steps. The only hiccup I’ve come across is most Tesla service centers don’t accept “out of network” warranties to pay for service, but if you twist their arm, they will allow it. You simply just need to talk to the main service provider and tell them Xcelerate will provide a direct credit card for payment. But the process was super simple for me. I started having issues with my car on a Saturday, so I scheduled my appointment at a service center, got the estimate, and forwarded it to Xcelerate. Monday, the next business day, Xcelerate approved my repairs, so I took my car to the service center, and Xcelerate was able to pay directly. Wonderful experience. Would highly recommend to any EV owner looking for an extended warranty service!

Thank you so much for the great review! We've been lobbying hard for Tesla to add internal standard operating procedure to accept payment from us nationally. After all, we have paid more to Tesla Service than anyone in the world so you would think they'd make it easier not harder to accept payment from us. :) We'll get there one day and we're happy to be able to serve our Tesla Community! Thanks again and happy driving if you are in fact driving!

Performed exactly as expected
I’ve been with them for about a year. The enrollment was pretty easy. Brent was a great communicator. Last month I took the car into Tesla for a squeaky suspension unit. The pre-approval was very easy. Surprisingly, Tesla found several thousands of dollar of additional work needed. All I had to do was send Xcare the updated estimate and it was approved. The only issue was that Tesla hourly charge was too high. I was surprised this wasn’t called out before, but it’s nothing new from extended warranty companies. 90% of the estimate was covered.

Thanks so much for the kind words! It is unfortunate that labor rates keep creeping up. We’ve seen over $300 an hour in some service centers. Hard to believe that is even possible. We’re so glad we were here to help with your repairs and again thank you for taking the time to share your experience!

November 2025 Xcelerate Auto / XCare Warranty Review
I'm writing this positive review about a XCelerate Auto and their XCare Tesla third party extended electric vehicle warranty. I purchased the warranty in the beginning of 2024 not thinking it would actually cover everything that the warranty listed.
Just like most people I was skeptical about purchasing a third party/aftermarket extended warranty. You always hear about the horror stories of the company not holding up their end of the agreement or going out of business. That is not the case with XCelerate Auto and XCare warranty. Xcelerate Auto and their XCare Extended EV Protection Warranty came through for me.
Recently in October 2025, I started having issues with my 2020 Tesla Model X ac not cooling and making a clunking/clicking noise while turning. Turns out my ac compressor overheated and half shafts were bad. The parts and labor quote from Tesla was in the thousands of dollars.
I made a claim as soon as I got the repair quote with the cause of parts failure from Tesla and emailed it over to Xcelerate Auto claims department not really sure what they were going to cover. They emailed me back within the hour, and they replied back with we got you covered, to include the diagnosis of the vehicle issues, parts, and labor. I was stunned, but still a little skeptical that they were actually going to honor the warranty agreement.
Their XCare Extended EV Protection Warranty was expensive but absolutely worth every penny that I spent on it. My claims Rep Libby was awesome and super responsive. She got back to me throughout the repair process sometimes within minutes as I was still pretty skeptical that once the repairs were finished if they were truly going to pay for the cost of the repairs that they authorized as covered.
Once the repairs were completed by the Tesla service technicians, the claims reps from Xcelerate/XCare provided the payment over the phone and upheld their end of the agreement. The claims process was one of the smoothest and painless warranty coverage experiences I've ever been through.
I hope this review helps other people that are looking for a trustworthy and reliable company like Xcelerate Auto that offers an extended warranty for their Tesla or other electric vehicle.
