Very BAD company. They refuse to stop phoning me. They call from a hidden phone number with robo calls. This compnay should ber banned from doing business worldwide. AVOID.

I WANT TO CANCEL MY CONTRACT. This whole thing is a scam, I have repeated emailed and not a single representative ever calls me regarding my concern. For over a week I have been calling and emailing. I was told to sell my timeshare, but the very timeshare companies recommended by wyndham said it is impossible since there is no value to them and noone will want to buy a contract like mine. Now they want to me enter the resale program, which comes with a fee, I don't understand why a fee since it is wyndham who is selling it, I am already obligated to pay hundreds in maintenance and more, plus mortgage. I have been lied to and deceived by your company, you lied about the amount I will be paying, not telling me about the assessments and how it increases yearly, you lied about easily booking, I til now cannot access RCI, you guys kept my husband and my babies for 4 hours selling us your timeshare pitch knowing my baby was tired and we were hungry, but kept us under the false impression this is for my family and is a generational wealth opportunity, more like generational debt. Your company is guilty of fraudulent misrepresentation and misleading me and my husband into this contract that is forced upon us. You guys used threats such as "next time we come we will not receive bonus or special add-on programs" which is a lie because you did not include the fact that those program have fees attached to them. YOU put my husband and infant in a highly pressurized environment taking advantage of our lack of knowledge, no time for research, values of family, and more as you used your line of questioning to actually use against us. I want out of this deceitful company.

We have already spent to much money on this worthless contract that we have never used ..we cannot afford this, and they clearly took advantage of us. Stay far away!

Wyndham Resorts’ lack of ethics, sympathy or empathy is abhorrent. I bought the first of my Wyndham timeshares in the 1990s, and at that time, I was always on time with my payments. All my contracts have been paid off, and I am now seeking to terminate them because I can no longer afford the ridiculously expensive fees associated with them. In December 2022, I dispatched Certified letters to both Wyndham Customer Service and Shawnee Corporate offices, clearly stating my situation. Additionally, I placed multiple calls to various offices, articulating the challenges I am currently facing. My intention was to communicate my decision to surrender my two timeshares due to financial hardships; exacerbated by my ongoing battle with stage 4 Thyroid cancer. My struggle commenced with surgery in 2018 and persists with chemotherapy, radiation, and continuous medical care. Regrettably, instead of encountering compassion and understanding for a devoted Wyndham Owner of almost 25 years, I've been met with monthly statements laden with penalties and interest, adding to the stress I am already grappling with. Our financial strain is further exacerbated by my wife's diagnosis of a blood disease, requiring expensive medication. While we navigate our retirement with Social Security income, my wife, at 76, continues to work at our local church to make ends meet. The burden of Wyndham maintenance fees has become insurmountable for us. This significant investment totaling approximately $120,000 over the years, encompassing purchases, mortgages, interest, upgrades, maintenance, and fees. And despite clearly stating we have reluctantly decided to surrender our timeshares to alleviate the financial burden; we are now being told that we need to PAY a third party to “resale” the contract. This on top of “past due” notices more than a year after we notified them that we were surrendering the product back to them.

The experience we had at Wyndham Resorts in Las Vegas turned into an utter nightmare. We lured in by a woman while walking through the property and were enticed to attend a Wyndham presentation in exchange for tickets to a show. Little did we know that this would turn into a four-hour meeting complete with high-pressure sales tactics and manipulation from their salespeople. Throughout the entire process, we were constantly pressured to purchase a timeshare, despite our repeated refusals. The tactics employed by their employees were deceptive and unethical. The fact that Wyndham needed 6 salespeople to harass us throughout the day should have been a big red flag that they wouldn’t let up until we bought something, which unfortunately, we did. Throughout the presentation, false statements were made regarding the timeshare. We were misled about the maintenance fee, and told it was a fixed cost that would not change. Additionally, we were falsely informed that we could change the payment frequency from monthly to annually. The sales team also pitched the timeshare as an investment, claiming we could rent it out for extra income. These misrepresentations only served to further deceive and manipulate us into making an ill-informed decision we now deeply regret. It is clear to us now that we were taken advantage of due to our youth and inexperience. We trusted that Wyndham, as a reputable company, would act in an ethical and honest manner. Unfortunately, our experience has shattered that trust. We hope that Wyndham takes this matter seriously and takes steps to rectify the harm that has been done. We trust that you will address our concerns promptly and appropriately.

Wyndham has wasted our time and energy with their scam of a timeshare. They offered us a discounted stay at one of their resorts in Florida for 3 days if we went to a 90-minute presentation. These 90-minutes turned into 5 HOURS. They would not let us go after we had told them no over and over again. They did not let us leave unless we upgraded. After we had agreed to purchase (only because we wanted to leave), they misinformed us about many important things, lied about perks, and raised our maintenance fees. You could say they raised our maintenance fees because we upgraded and are getting more, but that is not the case. We have received no added benefit or value in this upgrade. With the increase in maintenance fees combined with the outrageous interest rate has made it nearly impossible for me to afford any vacations, which is the sole reason we became involved with Wyndham in the first place.

If i could give no stars I would. I signed up for weekend in Myrtle Beach. They gave me the time I HAD to attend the tour and told me if I didn't attend this tour they would charge me $250. I showed up on time for my 1:30pm tour and they said there is no tour at 1:30pm we were trying to call you and they said you never checked in. The tour was at 12:30pm. You cannot attend it now. You have to come back tomorrow at 10:30am or 1:30pm. I told them I was unavailable at those times as I had made all my arrangements based on the tour they told me I had to attend. They are nothing be scammers. They told me if I didn't attend a tour they are still going to charge even though they had nothing but miscommunication between their offices and resorts. I was on the phone with them longer the ridiculous tour would have been. They ruined my entire weekend with their nonsense. Don't ever speak to these scammers.
