Poor Workmanship and Refusal to Take Responsibility
I’ve been a long-time customer of Wrench.com and have spent thousands of dollars with them over the years, but this experience has completely changed my view of the company. In April 2025, a Wrench.com mechanic named Kevin replaced my rear brakes. He was the last person to remove and reinstall my rear wheel. Recently, I ended up with a flat tire and discovered that one of the lug nuts had been cross-threaded, making the wheel impossible to remove. This is not normal wear and tear — it is the result of improper installation. Despite this: Wrench.com charged me $150 to send another mechanic out for a “warranty check” They confirmed the issue Then they refused to cover the cost of removing the damaged lug nut And refused to refund the $150, even though the issue traces directly back to their prior service Wrench.com was the last company to touch the wheel, yet they are refusing to take responsibility for the damage caused by their mechanic’s work. As a result, I’m left with a flat tire I can’t remove and out additional money for their mistake. This situation shows a serious lack of accountability and customer care. Loyal customers shouldn’t have to fight to have obvious workmanship issues corrected. I would strongly caution anyone considering Wrench.com to think twice, especially if something goes wrong — because based on my experience, they may not stand behind their work.
