I booked a flight through Rovia in 2015. They sent me a "booking confirmation" email with all my flight details. I assumed this was my flight confirmation but now that I re-read the email 8 months later in preparation of my flight, I realize that it was not a flight confirmation it was just a "booking" confirmation. My flight is in 3 weeks. I contacted them to email me my final flight confirmation. They said the airline never received my credit card information so my flight wasn't booked. Why didn't the airline receive my credit card information? I booked through Rovia and gave it to them. If there was an issue why didn't they contact me and tell me there was an issue with my credit card? They have my email and telephone number. Now, a flight that I tried to book for $206 now costs me $515. I have never had this issue with other booking agencies. Never again. This is not to disparage WorldVentures/Dreamtrips because those trips are awesome but they need a different booking agency.

I recently had a pretty big mixup with a customer service rep. The misunderstanding would have cost me around $500. Rovia went out of their way to correct the issue and make it right. Special thanks to Barbara for taking care of my family and I!

We had the worst experience with "travel agent" Dina Holland who claimed to be an independent travel agent working under Rovia. Dina booked our flights and hotel for a spring break trip to Mexico. She booked the worst possible flight schedule, making us travel to Texas in order to fly when our group was from Oklahoma. She offered no alternative schedule and did not give any reasoning as to why she chose these flights (timing of the flights was AWFUL too!). After we arrived in Mexico and the hotel booking was incredibly messed up, Dina was a ghost. She was impossible to contact. She never answered her phone and has yet to respond to any of the emails I sent her while on vacation. She sent out a mass email to the group I was with saying she would "try" to resolve the problem and that was the last anyone has heard from her. That was the second day of our vacation- over a week ago. Dina claims to own her own travel agency, yet still communicated with us via Rovia- seems sketchy to me! I would not trust this travel agent, or anyone else who claims to be an independent agent under Rovia.

Booked a stay at a Hilton property in Raleigh, NC a couple weeks ago as my son had a hockey tournament there. The group rate the team had was much better than the normal online rate from the hotel itself. However, I booked through the Rovia website and I got a suite for about $10 less than the group rate the team had for a normal room! It was awesome! And I still got my Hilton points! This is actually a typical example of the great prices and rooms I have gotten through Rovia over the last seven years. Super happy! One time I even called because I wanted to book at a hotel that I couldn't find online and they handled the booking for me over the phone. After dozens of satisfied bookings I am a loyal customer!

The company states the following cancellation policy: If you don't check-in to the hotel on the first day of your reservation and do not alert the hotel in advance, the hotel reserves the right to cancel your reservation and may charge you a penalty. In simple English, when you read this you think that if you cancel your reservation in advance of check in time you will not face penalties. However what they told me when I called was that the hotel gets to decided the definition of advance, but that's not what their policy says. This company has a misleading policy and when I questioned them about it I was told that it was not their fault. I wouldn't give your business to this company, they are shady and you can't trust them.

I was a WorldVentures member and I have experience booking with Rovia. The leaders at WorldVentures tell you that you will be able to travel at unbelievable prices. That is only if you are a member and go on what they call a "DreamTrip" which are booked on specific dates. If no "DreamTrip" is available for the dates of your vacation you can spend $50.00 to put in a request for a Rovia Travel Agent to contact you. It could take a couple of weeks to hear from someone. WorldVentures "Trainers" tell you can book through Rovia and travel "cheap". Not so! When you do book through Rovia, If there is a problem, their "Live Chat" employees don't know anything and can't help you. The Air Ticketing Department can't help with airfare pricing if it drops because there is so much red tape you miss the deadline to get any reimbursement. The leadership and personnel of Rovia has changed and now someone from Expedia is running the show. On a scale of 1-10, Rovia has gone from a 5 to a 2 very quickly! Stay away from booking with Rovia unless you like to be aggravated.

Rovia is the most unorganized company I have ever experienced. The staff are completely incompetent and lack basic life skills. I am shocked this company is in business as they are so incredibly shady and illegitimate. Absolutely brutal experiences charging THOUSANDS of dollars after saying they charged nothing on the credit card. Charging twice and the second time for an unauthorized additional $400 almost $4000 total and saying it is not their responsibility to correct it but the airlines. Mind boggling.
