Wordfence is an intuitive and powerful plugin with stellar support. They are continuously updating it and communicating with end users. They have helped me through a hack (It was my fault--not a failed firewall) and the bazillion questions (for weeks) that followed. They have helped me through ensuring my test site is secure. The engineers are thorough, knowledgable, and responsive. I have the Premium version and highly recommend. I cannot recommend Wordfence more highly.

A month prior to opening a support ticket with Wordfence, I had apparently misconfigured 2FA on one of my sites. After opening a ticket, Inreceived highly detailed instruction on the steps I needed to take to unravel the mess I had made and they worked perfectly. Great plugin! Great support! The free version of Wordfence has been our go-to security plugin on client sites for years.
