Will be taking my business somewhere else bank is horrible. One minute they close at 7 then they close at 6 I drove all the way to the Woodforest on galleria blvd Charlotte NC from work to cash my check so I can feed my son it’s 5:59 the lady couldn’t even cash my check talking about we changed our hours from 7 to 6 because we are short staffed! I am going to close my account and go to another bank with more options and steady hours!!!!!! Do not mess with bank they are horrible in every way!!!

My account was hacked and funds were used there was an email added to my bank account without my know about and without my permission weird how an email got added to my bank account it had to be an inside job there's no other way

The consumer advocate department is a joke, they haven't responded. It's a joke.

My mother in law who lived in Virginia passed away. After the funeral and settling her estate my husband and his sister recieved their inheritance checks. They tried to cash them at Chase (we are Texas account holders) and they said it would be a 5 day hold. We could not wait 5 days. We were covering her funeral costs and personally paid for travel and lodging for his sister and niece as well. 3 wks in a Holiday Inn Express is Expensive! We took the check into Woodforest and explained our situation and they pulled up our Texas account, called a supervisor and told us to deposit the checks. They will have a 24 hr hold but then the funds will be released. The representative spoke with the funeral home for us and everything worked out. I was impressed by the professionalism and the genuine care we were shown. My Pearland, Texas location always gives us that kind of sevice on a regular basis. Julio know our entire family by name. It's impressive to see that I can get that same level of service in any state. I sincerely appreciate that more than anything else.

We just moved to the Conroe TX area. We stopped in to open a new account. Javier Ruiz was the rep who helped us get it done. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. We are looking forward to doing business with Woodforest Bank in Conroe. Thanks for the great service!

They don't give access on their app to services that most banks do. Like they do not allow money transfers. Even when calling the bank they don't allow money transfers. They also do not allow you to order a replacement debit card over the app like most banks do. They expect you to go into the location to do a money transfer. If you happen to need access to your money to put into another account and are not near a location you are screwed. My debit card is gone and I don't have time to wait for another one to come into the mail and now there is no other option to access my funds. Most banks have better options. The worst part is they may take my funds because they require a minimum of $100 balance and I just need the funds I have in there now and can deposit at least $100 next payday. Horribly inconvenient bank.

Changed POS since May 2022 (it’s now Sept) and have called EVERY month to cancel and stop monthly charges without success. Was told today, by a supervisor, after escalating the call, that there are no records of my calls except an august one and that all charges are legit ($164 each month) even though no services were provided and I called multiple times (hours on hold and w customer service). Absolutely unacceptable, upsetting and absurd. Terrible customer service and worse yet, untrustworthy. Bad bad business.
